Very nice place in the theater area of Geneva. Surrounded by Grand Theatre, Victoria Hall, Grütli Cinéma this cafe has a nice view on the Grand Theatre if you are at the terrace. They have a nice choice for vegans, as well as for traditional food lovers. Both are delicious. I have had a vegan hamburger with maïs 🌽 which I found very tasty. My husband had a fish tartar which was so delicious that I’ve regret not having it. They have a pumpkin soup with madras curry - it's so delicious that you can swallow your tongue 😛 I think the customers of this institution are not random customers. These are mostly intelligent people visiting theaters with a certain level of culture. You can feel it with the atmosphere in the restaurant - it is calm and in the same time it is full. There was not even one free table. Fully booked. If you will not book it in advance, you won’t get a table. It was a wonderful discovery for us in the gloomy Geneva. Few words about staff- very attentive and friendly they manage to provide an excellent service. With adequate price, this place definitely deserves the success in their future. We will definitely get back and I’m going to have my...
Read moreCame here to eat with my friends and had a mixed experience. Cute vibe in the restaurant but the fish I ordered wasn’t very well seasoned and the ratatouille it came with was a small amount of ratatouille stuffed into a large undercooked tomato. For 36 francs I’d hoped for something tastier. Ordered the chocolate fondant for dessert (13 francs and no price on the menu or provided by the server). It was tiny especially for the price and the outside was rubbery. When I went to pay I discovered they’d charged me 1 francs for the tap water I’d asked for “for the climate”, but theres nothing on the menu I could see which indicates where this money goes and frankly I’d have appreciated being able to opt out or being told I’d be charged. Would find a different place for a meal next time...
Read moreLovely ambience but they served us with 3 chicken burgers rather than 3 vege burgers and the vege burgers when they arrived at last had a slab of barely cooked thickly sliced celeriac as their feature ingredient with very little else in between the bread to make it palatable. A truly awful, awful dish. We all hated it. The entrees were good so it was a surprise that the main was so terrible. The restaurant offered complimentary glasses of limoncello to make up for our experience. We still had to pay 99 CHF for the three vege burgers so not good...
