It was actually free on the day I visited. From the outside you would think it was a large gallery but only the first floor is exhibition space for paintings. The ground floor has craft shop and reception. Two central themes here were Buddhist Iconography art works as well as many Floral paintings. Unfortunately no labels telling you anything about the paintings or artists. Thus is something they could improve and loses a Star for this on my ranking. Lighting is always very important in Art Galleries and they've managed to arrange this in such a way to avoid, in most cases, reflection or glare on the Art Works. Read moreIf you look at previous posts here, you can see that there are some interesting exhibitions. But when I went there, the shown exhibition lacked artistic demands as well as curatorial standards.
In my opinion, the "art" on display had a purely decorative function and hardly any deeper meaning. The theme was transience, but it was treated in a superficial and clichéd manner.
In the entire three-story exhibition there were maybe 5 works that were somewhat interesting. A lot of it was really horrible kitsch.
