Moonshine Bar — Restaurant in Chana Songkhram Subdistrict

It's one of the great spots in the area I constantly revisit. Cheap draught beer, cheap good cocktails, pool tables, relatively large outdoor seating area. Everything is awesome. However, if you want Thai food with normal spice level tell them before you order, since most customers are travellers they skip out on the chili, however just ask for it and you will get it. Also, the bar/restaurant is located under beautiful nice trees which is absolutely awesome, however, you might wanna bring some mosquito spray since they thrive in such areas. On a postive note, the Moonshine is reasonably priced, authentic and strong. However the women who served us was horrible. She made us feel unwelcome. We attempted to order some food from the menu but she rudely tapped the 'happy hour' menu and said pick something from this. When we said we didn't want any food from this particular menu she snatched the menus off us. Can't comment on the food as after this shocking service we decided to leave. Well, you can sitt outside and drink intoxicating liquids. And, since I consider myself a vertebrate it has one advantage over any other place. It's actually the closest drinking establishment to the regional primate authority.
