Yolo Craft Beer Bar — Restaurant in Chana Songkhram Subdistrict

I'm not going to complain about the prices and selection of beer as I understand that beer can get very expensive in Thailand due to import taxes. They had an interesting selection of beers that were unique.

The establishment itself is quite poor. The place smelled of mold and odor upon entering. It was dark, gloomy and made me feel claustrophobic. The staff were welcoming but had a change of character when we indicated we were not going to have a seat.

If you are looking for a quality venue to spend the evening then this is definitely not your answer. If you are looking for a quick stop to find some unique beer at high prices then perhaps you could make a visit...

Tiny and unpretentious place which is heavily staffed (3 boys and one girl in a space the size of an average budget hotel room). Employees are extremely friendly and patient with the sometimes obnoxious customers and everyone in general. Nice profile of beers. It is important to note that many beers from the USA are heavily sugared, artificially flavored, and highly disappointing. There are some really good beers here, but i suggest sticking to the non-american choices. The biscotti stout and moose boots are disgusting sugar bombs. After a long day exploring Bangkok, I was craving a good craft beer and ended up here. The venue is small but offers a wide selection of choices. I wanted to try local craft beers and went for two options on tap both were excellent, thanks to the great recommendations from the amazing Ms. Osaka!
