I love the vibe here and I love that I can count on them. I ate here both my first night and last night in town. I love that they have a good variety of things, but I will say they are a little bit more expensive than what one would expect for Thailand. But now that I've been around this city, I see that it's pretty par for the course, if you want to sit down in a restaurant. Can you go cheaper? Yes, but this place is very good along with an excellent atmosphere. And I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking for something I can't get at home. I would recommend the pork leg with rotkohl cabbage, it was amazing and delicious. They have various assortments of beer, wine and cocktails, and I have sampled the beer and the wine because other places, I have noticed that once you're on your second and third cocktail, there seems to be less and less alcohol. I can't say that that's true here, but... I love me a good glass of wine. Fool proof. Anyway, I do recommend this place and I will make it a steadfast stop even though next time I come, I would stay in a different neighborhood rather than...

So the guy chose to have two Thai policemen argue with me in his restaurant in front of other customers over bad food he had provided on a sunny Sunday evening, I believe that happened after he consulted via phone with the owner. Tells you everything about that place. Recommendation: go there only for the beers, which were good, and no, I only had one that day so it was not a drunken rant on my side. [manager eventually took the disputed item off the bill after police wanted to take him and me to the station to have the chief decide...
Read moreFood came after 5 minutes and was bland, lacked salt or any seasoning and was overpriced. The salad was almost inedible with raw zucchini and eggplant. The crab pasta only had a tablespoon of crab and was very over cooked. Also, the prices online on their website were much lower than in the menu at the restaurant. Location might be pretty, but food was very disappointing and we couldn’t pay with American Express, even though the door had two signs stating they American Express cards were welcome (signs that can easily be taken down to not confuse customers). I wouldn’t recommend going there, unless you’re only planning to have a drink (here the prices seemed to be the same as on...
