I will start by saying the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Maybe in some cases a little over the top trying to get their review points. I can't fault the customer service however the cleaners seemed to be annoyed when we requested the room to be made up each day. Through our travel agent we arranged a premium family room. We need accommodation 3 adults and 2 children. We were told it was a premium family room. When we booked we were told there would be an extra single bed set up in one of the rooms so that there would be one room with a king size bed and one room with three single beds. When we arrived at around 3:00am after an eight hour flight we found there was a king bed in one room and two single beds in the other. The l kids were ready to sleep they needed to go to bed it had been a long day. I asked where the third bed was as they knew we were a group of five. The guy said he would get that organised straight away and rang housekeeping who came in and put a sheet, blanket and pillow on the day bed. This is what we got for around $1000Au per day. Not very happy. What we got, two individual rooms with adjoining doors. The doors jut out into the room space we had to move around in. One of the grandchildren was standing talking to us and turned around and walked straight into the edge of the door. The striker plate on the doors stuck out about 10mm and where about 200mm long, they were sharp and I cut my arm on one of them. -There were no power points in the bath room. -The ward robe for keeping clothes in was in the bathroom. -the rooms faced out onto the busy street and the club's and taxis with booming music made it difficult to get the kids to sleep and then stay asleep. -the kids loved the swimming pool but there was nowhere to dry wet swim wear once we got back to the room. - we had five people booked to stay but each room only had two towels. We had to ask for extra towels, extra toilet paper, extra tea bags. - the pillows on the bed were huge and fluffy until you put your head on it then they were flat and uncomfortable. - the day bed had legs that stuck out in the end that everyone kept kicking their toes on. - a small storage box that you could also sit on had wheels on it and when my granddaughter sat on it, it rolled out from the wall and she fell backwards onto the floor hitting her head hard. - the tv was on a part of a wall panel that pulled out to assist viewing but was a head hitting hazard. My wife hit her head on it a few times because we had to put suitcases on the floor below it - the shower didn't drain properly and the tray filled up like a small bath and flooded out onto the bathroom floor, the shower head leaked and I had to tighten it up so that it worked properly. - the area where the kettle and the cups are stored leaves hardly enough space to actually make a cup of tea. The cleaning staff left two tea bags a day for the room. Too bad if you like a few cups of tea a day. - the fridge is so small we struggled to store drinks for the family in it. This place was presented to us as a family hotel. There is nowhere to sit other than the day bed, a single plastic chair or a storage box. There was no cutlery other than a tea spoon, plate. We had to buy a knife to cut fruit etc. There was no milk provided we needed to buy it from the shop over the road. The Flight Centre in Melbourne recommended it. From the moment we stepped into the room we were disappointed. And within minutes of getting there and my granddaughter fell backwards off the seat I was furious. After that every bad point just stood out. Would I recommend this hotel as a family place, based on the room we were given, not at all. It's a Russian hotel and they don't appear to be very friendly people so we didn't make any new friends on our holiday. Not many people appeared to speak English so the kids couldn't even make friends.

This is my 2nd day in this hotel My check in is yesterday 30/4/23 Mrs/ms beer at front desk is amazing staff she helped us to check room availability as we need to move ASAP from our previous hotel.she is very helpful and take her time to show us the units and make tour around the hotel the day before we decided to move to OZO. She make everything easier and possible for us to move knowingly we have to move at night My daughter enjoying their swimming pools with slides and there is ceramic painting and another activities We tried their restourant for dinner with salmon and beef tenderloin and it's cater to our taste. lunch time is another excellency we spoke with female chef we compliment how good their food , breakfast is another level they certainly have varieties of foods for foreigners and Thailand food as well, they provide healthy diet as well for someone who have GERD I can digest well my breakfast and feeding my daughter become easier as well they have kids menu for breakfast and a la carte as well Joe the internship serving us well during dinner and his English is very good and another staff as well during our lunch time( i forgot their names). Easy acces through back door to kata beach like 5minutes walking. Infront of the hotel you have 7 eleven and in surrounding . We move out from 5 stars hotel and we found ozo is better than our previous stay. I see restourant staffs keep cleaning the restourant time to time ( I'm amaze) Their engineer staff is very good and fast solving the problem with black out in our room on the day our arrival ,and I don't find it annoying as they're working efficiently and find out the source of the problem ( I forgat his name but he is good and skilled engineer ) . Even though some staff are lacking in English but Google translator is our saver and they're still trying to help us despite the language (I really appreciate their efforts ,knowingly this can be frustrated for them as well) the room is clean with balcony en face de swimming pool, the bed is comfort enough and the bathroom is good and clean, we have petite sofa inside and the balcony have hanger to dry our clothes. Is not big room but is enough for us with our 8 yrs old daughter. If there is small mishap is still acceptable My husband is 185 cm and my daughter is 120cm tall and they're both can sleep well on bed and sofa Edit : unfortunately we have to move because they don't have another room to extend our stay and yet we come back using day pass and having breakfast at their hotel i just love their breakfast varieties ! ,we had lunch and movie times for our daughter and dinner as well Pond and nong kindness is cherry on the top despite we are not ozo guest anymore The general manager (khun katty,if i'm not mistaken and Mr. tuk give us early entry day pass knowingly we're arrived half hour earlier from the schedule for day pass and i appreciate this kinda gesture, from 0 to 10 their staffs is 10 they're are kind and helpfull and informative as well! Ps: their cocktails is good! Room to improve : cleaness in certains area such as hallways outside our rooms and outdoor near by swimming pools certains guest definitely don't know how to respect cleaness. Salad Nicoise with egg please replace new laundry form and bag and keep it available in room as I don't find it after I sent my laundry and I have to ask it from their staffs.

Deserves being #1 in Kata Beach Very interesting hotel lobby that is open on the street & feels very different! Especially that the street is really a live: Restaurants, bars, Shops, Money Exchange, Seven Eleven (Grocery which also sells sim cards), massage outlets, beauty salons and finally street night market just few minutes walk. The team were very nice and friendly, we were very tired after a very long flight with kids with jet-lag, we couldn’t wait to see a bed, they helped us check-in very early (of-course they mentioned it is not common but subject to availability but guess we were lucky). We got the OZO suite on the corner of highest floor which is very specious has an amazing panoramic window and balcony overlooking both the garden and the pool areas. We were 2 adults + 2 kids (2 & 7 years old) so they provided extra bed in addition to the existing sofa in the living room. It is also worth it to mention how comfortable the beds were! Like you dive in dreams without even realizing how much you slept! The pool area is very cozy and nice with good number of sun beds, there is 3 pools, big standard, big slider pool, and baby pool. In addition to a play area for kids. Our Kids and ourselves enjoyed all of them. Kata Beach is walking distance and it was really nice as you take your towels from hotel and use a special gate in the backside to access closest point. I’d love if in the future they consider Halal Meat for muslim travelers but to be honest their (EAT restaurant) offers enough variety of meals that we could eat such as Salads, Pizzas, Pastas & Seafood and not forget the refreshing virgin mocktails. The staff of restaurant were also very friendly and patient. Breakfast had also enough options for Halal Travelers like Egg live station, waffles and pan cakes, serials for kids, fresh fruits and some pastry. We didn’t try grill nights due to Halal food availability but seems the atmosphere was amazing as they had live music during dinners so for those who are not having halal food restrictions you’ll enjoy it for sure! We recommend you book online direct via their website (and make sure you enroll in their onyx loyalty program before you book to guarantee best rates and get some extras like complimentary lunch or dinner) Overall our experience at OZO was wonderful and we’ll for sure recommend it to all of our friends planning to visit Kata Beach.

Deserves being #1 in Kata Beach

Very interesting hotel lobby that is open on the street & feels very different!

We recommend you book online direct via their website (and make sure you enroll in their onyx loyalty program before you book to guarantee best rates and get some extras like complimentary lunch or dinner)

Overall our experience at OZO was wonderful and we’ll for sure recommend it to all of our friends planning to...
