Well let’s begin with the “museum” status that all the map apps claim for that place. Me and my girlfriend were walking by be decided to visit this museum. The guy on the entrance didn’t speak English (we come from Russia) and asked for help of another guy. He told us that it costs 30 TL to visit the museum which is also a fabric nowadays. We agreed. Then he told couple of sentences about when it was found and what kind of goods they produce. Later the 1st guy (who speaks no English, just turkish) was our “guide” in the “museum”. The “museum” was one (!) large hall with a lot of desks standing there and the workers/painters were painting patterns/flowers etc on porcelain vases, plates, cups. That’s it. No further information, no historical facts, no communication provided. Taking pictures is prohibited. The whole tour lasted 10 min. It felt like we were fooled. If you claim you are a museum, you have to have someone speaking English (!) 2. Have a normal knowledgeable guide. 3. Create some kind of a “tour”.
