TCI Shisha Lounge — Attraction in Providenciales

Real review: 4/13/2024 (Saturday night at Shisha)

Club is a nice vibe, we were greeted by the owner Ronnie as we traveled from Florida and had a section reserved by a friend (another club promoter)last minute, so we were happy to get a section. At first the atmosphere was welcoming we spent $830 for 4 people 1 BOTTLE, and 4 meals. The price was outrageous but we understood it’s a tourist club. After TWO hours (we got there at 10 pm) we were told “if your not going to buy anything else you need give your section up” after paying 800.( no one told us we had a time limit walking in). WE WASNT EVEN DONE WITH OUR BOTTLE AND WE JUST GOT OUR FOOD 30 minutes prior!!!! It went so far as staff constantly cleaning items from our table AGAIN we hadn’t even finished our bottle. Getting annoyed I asked for a bottle of wine hoping they would leave us alone. They charged me 286 for a bottle of BAREFOOT moscato again we paid. No problem. I asked the bottle girl will this make her leave us alone she laughed and said “yeah”. Another bottle girl next to us walked past and said “they need to go” the people she was serving were buying more bottles (it’s was 15 of them and 4 of us all girls) and I guess they wanted to extend our section to them but we weren’t getting up at this point we have spent 1k. Our bottle girl had to explain that we bought a bottle of wine. The whole time we were still being harassed, they no longer came to refill the coals on our hooka, staff kept coming to see if we finished our bottle, got so annoyed we just left. So yeah 0/10. For people spending money it’s never about the price with me, it’s about how you treat people. We came to have a good time but be upfront about the time limit, and don’t harass people let them have a good time. Very uncomfortable. The other bottle girl verbally being rude, we spent money just like everyone else and the crazy part they picked and choose who they wanted to harass. Its weird vibes and won’t be back. It’s ok to be a money hungry establishment, everybody have to hustle and eat but at least have a kind and welcoming atmosphere about it. Again 0/10 will up sale the hell out of you and if you don’t keep spending, don’t expect them to be nice. THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME IN TURKS AND CAICOS WONT BE BACK TO THIS...

This place is okay depending on what day you go and what your looking for. Me and my wife went on a Saturday and had an ok time but we are in our late 40s and its more of a younger crowd type of club. 20s & 30s is the majority of the age range there (our kids are in their late 20s) Because its 1 of the main hip hop spots on the island they over charge as like alot of places on the island. They want & expect you to want a booth or a bottle even if it's just 2 of you. A booth comes with a bottle and is $1,000. If you're not wanting neither of those then you are not a priority. Me & my wife got transferred from server to server because all we wanted was to get a hookah and drinks. After waiting about 15-20 mins I had to speak with a manager and stated if we going to be over looked & not prioritized as paying customers then we will leave and I want a full refund, I paid $80 for us to get in but not be serviced is insane. Yes it was $40 each just to get in on a Saturday. The manager made sure we got seated at a regular table and that my wife got her hookah. Cocktails there are high $20 & up, hookah is basic at most. The party atmosphere was real hip hop club scene. Mixture of hip hop and R&B music. It's catered to the younger crowd. We left after 2hrs of being there. Sunday nights are light, we was looking for something to do and stopped by Sunday night after leaving Danny bouy because music was loud outside. It was completely different, light crowd so its free to enter lol go figure. Over all its an over priced regular club but since Saturdays the whole island is there they over charge on everything. I'm still trying to process the utter disappointment and frustration my cousin and I experienced at Shisha Lounge/Club during our recent visit. Despite my cousin's eagerness to check out this spot, our evening was marred by rude staff, poor service, and a bizarre food fiasco.

From the start, the girls working there were unfriendly and dismissive. We encountered not one, but two incidents where staff members yelled at us, leaving us feeling unwelcome and disrespected.

But when I became completely done was when I ordered fish fingers and was served chicken instead. I kid you not, the staff tried to convince me it was fish, even going so far as to have the owner join in on the charade! After acknowledging the mistake, I was denied even a handful of fries, despite being offered a refund. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority.

The vibe at Shisha Lounge/Club screams "Atlanta-style" pomp and circumstance, prioritizing bottle-popping and VIP sections over genuine customer service. If you're looking for a place where the staff and owner only care about your wallet, not your experience, then Shisha is the place for you.
