Worst K-pop experience as a parent of a minor group performers ages from 8-11 last night at Dubai Festival Mall!!! This was the first ever event where we as parent were unable to enjoy our kids 10 minutes performance as we are being targeted and shoved away by security mall management!!! There are a lot of bystanders watching and taking videos but only we, the parents of the kids who were performing, were the only ones they keep on chasing and instructed non-stop to leave the area!!! We are all very excited about the event but it turned out to be a traumatic experience for all of us. One of the mothers even fell on her knee because of the exaggerated action of the security mall management!!! We all felt harassed and pitied ourselves of the treatment given to us!!! All we just wanted was to show how proud we are and show our full support to our kids which we keep on telling the security people. We’ve been asking them to please let us enjoy the performance of our kids as it was only for 10 minutes and will be gladly leave but no one listened!!! The K-pop organizers of this event should also take action into this incident as we will not tolerate this kind of maltreatment! We felt very sorry to ourselves as we were treated like criminals!!!! After leaving the area, still a lot of bystanders were allowed to watched and take video of our kids performance!!! Not just that, while us on the side were standing and watching from a far, security added another layer of metal barricade between us parents which made it more impossible for us to watch and enjoy the show! Worst experience and a total nightmare!!! Allowing my kid to again join this event or any event of Dubai Festival City Mall???? I need to rethink hundred times!!! Very far from Burjuman Mall where the parents were treated well and not shoved away. Burjuman always have showed their full support and concern to the performers/minor children. After the performance, my daughter asked if I cheered for her and how was her dance performance? Did she made me feel happy and proud? Proud definitely no doubt! I am her no. 1 fan but I am really sorry because I was not able to cheer for her, show my love and support because of the heartless, unjust and unfair treatment of the security mall management!!!! Before, DFC Mall for me was 1 of the best mall that’s why I am so happy to know that my daughter’s group was invited to perform not knowing that all the excitement will be just purely disappointment and a total...
