The Mailbox is a strange combination of high-end and high-street. There are some expensive designer establishments, and some established brands alongside more mainstream providers. For example there are a few businesses competing for the weekend "boozy-brunch" market, several steak restaurants with an enormous range in price and quality - the two are not always related; (one of) the quirky Everyman cinema(s); a number of designer clothing outlets - some of which provide wonderful customer service - others less so, plus a number of offices, hotels and luxury apartments. There are things I wouldn't swap but others I would swap tomorrow. Nb if you live in Birmingham and you decide to walk home along the canal (generally a lovely walk btw) it can be very easy to get yourself "turned around" at the Mailbox as the canals don't necessarily take the routes you expect them to- check the signposts!

Stayed at the AC Marriott which was excellent. Some amazing shops inside of the mailbox, Harvey Nic's the cream of the crop without a doubt. Some great independent shops too, with some great designer shops scattered about. The whole place oozes class, spotlessly clean, with a lovely relaxed vibe going on. Plenty of places to eat and drink, with two hairdressers thrown in for good measure. Everything you need really for a great day out. Close to the canal and a quick walk to the train station. taxi rank straight outside to get you home. However if you drive, lots of parking available. highly recommend a visit.

The Mailbox is an upmarket shopping and entertainment centre that houses Harvey Nichols and the BBC. It has a good range of restaurants and cafes and the Mal Maison hotel. There is a Tom's Kitchen restaurant and a separate cafe with a very comfortable seating area. Best of all is the Everyman Cinema which serves food and drinks whilst you are watching movies. I visited the outdoor area overlooking the canal for the Birmingham, Solihull & Sandwell Jazz Festival and as usual had a great time in this very well managed centre.

The only place I enjoy shopping in the city centre is mailbox as it is a lot more quite and the whole shopping experience is more enjoyable. Always find great clothes and I am in to my designer wear. Good place to shop for those who love designer clothing I would recommend to pay a visit. Also great views and canal near by good to walk around and enjoy the scenery it has to offer. Plenty of bars for entertainment and socialising. It has many places all in one location.

The Mailbox in Birmingham is a chic and sophisticated destination, known for its luxury shopping, dining, and vibrant atmosphere. With high-end fashion boutiques, stylish restaurants, and a stunning canalside setting, it’s a great spot to enjoy a leisurely day out. The modern design and relaxed vibe make it a standout in the city’s shopping scene, whether you’re there for a meal, a bit of retail therapy, or simply to take in the ambiance.

A mailbox means everything in one at short. Really enjoyed a day out with my friend, just a few miles near walking distance to China town. Many different kind of cuisine available and pubs and bars. They even have a pub with arcade games inside. Luckily they have a dragon boat race and all of the teams are local and it is a 21 degree sunny day, really enjoy it. Free lovely mochi ice cream as well just for today, I think I am blessed.😋😋
