The radiant summer sun casts its golden glow upon the shores of Blackpool, infusing the coastline with a captivating brilliance. As I stand on the sandy beach, a gentle warmth embraces my skin, as if nature itself is bestowing its blessings upon this idyllic seaside town. The rhythmic melody of crashing waves serenades my senses, soothing my soul with its timeless cadence. Each wave carries with it a sense of tranquility, as if the ocean's gentle touch is whispering secrets only it knows. The glistening waters stretch far beyond the horizon, inviting me to immerse myself in their embrace. The vibrant energy of Blackpool comes alive under the summer sun. The laughter of families and the joyful shrieks of children fill the air, intermingling with the rhythmic calls of seagulls soaring above. Ice cream vendors line the promenade, their colorful carts a testament to the sweetness that summer brings. The Blackpool Tower stands tall and majestic, a beacon of grandeur against the azure sky. Its silhouette creates a harmonious contrast, a blend of old-world charm and modern allure. The sight of the tower evokes a sense of wonder and excitement, a symbol of the vibrant spirit that permeates this coastal haven. As I walk along the shoreline, the sand sinks beneath my toes, grounding me in the present moment. The soft caress of the sea breeze whispers tales of distant lands, carrying with it a promise of adventure. I pause, taking in the panoramic vista before me, with its blend of natural splendor and urban enchantment. In this moment, Blackpool's shoreline becomes a sanctuary of serenity. The summer sun paints a vivid tableau, illuminating every detail with its radiant brushstrokes. It is a place where time stands still, where worries and cares are swept away by the tides. Blackpool's shoreline, bathed in the summer sun, is a testament to the beauty and magic that nature bestows upon us. It is a place where memories are etched in the sands of time, where the simplicity of a day by the sea becomes an everlasting treasure. In this oasis of tranquility, I find solace and gratitude for the gift of summer and the boundless wonders it brings.

Blackpool is what it is, cheap and cheerful and the kids absolutely love it (as do the adults). Tons of arcades, restaurants, bars and mega cheap accommodation. There's well and truly something for everyone, just beware of opportunist thieves, as with any seaside resort town. Came here for Blackpool Airshow at the weekend and whilst I'd recommend it, I'd recommend Southport Airshow more. Southport was much less busy, had more shaded areas to escape the heat, and you had a great view of the airshow from anywhere in the town, whereas in Blackpool, as soon as you're off the Promenade the buildings are too tall for you to see anything. Also, it's hard to differentiate the aircraft from all the hundreds of seagulls that start panic-flying everywhere once the jets come in. The Promenade was absolutely hammered and you couldn't move. Blackpool in the school holidays is just so unbelievably busy, so bare that in mind if you want a relaxing day out. Try and go in the term time if you can.

Good but the amusements were fixed so never win anything. The ones along the strip are way better, I highly recommend Golden Mile amusements. They say Coral Island is the main one in Blackpool but it was nothing compared to The Golden Mile. I won tons from there as was doable and I'm good at timing etc. So giving it 3 stars but if go for amusements then I don't recommend that. The shows there are good but they make you buy tickets to get on a lot but still pay cash for prize games at stalls etc. You'll pay 30 quid for 30 tickets and 60 quid for 70 tickets and it costs at least 4 tickets per ride per person so they go fast but if you don't want to return for a few days and you have any tickets left, they won't be usable after 48 hours of buying them. You get 2 whole days diluting day until closes which is early during the week too FYI. It was so boring in Blackpool during the weeknights as even the amusements close at 9 pm at the latest on a good day and everywhere seemed to be falling apart. Leaky roofs etc in places everywhere. If want racier, faster shows to go on and you have money to waste then Pleasure Beach where there are roller coasters galore. It wasn't for me as I hate heights. Anyway, the central pier is nothing to write home about unless you count the gorgeous seaside scenery that comes with it. Stunning views and I recommend the views there too but money shouldn't be wasted on trying to win things there as that's a rip-off. Maybe the odd little plush for your kids but nothing money-wise. 💰 👎for the scenery you'll see around it on the outside I give it big 👍👌🫶👌👍 in the pic we are on the pier or next to it rather but can see the strip in the background. At the weekend Blackpool is amazing but during the week everything shuts early so all we had then was the hotel room which was crap, beech Hotel, falling apart and not even a mini fridge or good TV (it's nothing like advertises on the site) It is run-down mostly apart from the pub and breakfast room. The rooms are pokey and 4 of us were crammed even though it's advertised as fancy and modern, it was a rip-off and way too expensive. Over a thousand quid for 1 crappy pokey musky smelling room. I'd have arachnophobia like my son then it's a defo no no.1 was in the light constantly moving so shadowed and freaky all week. The staff may be polite downstairs at first but then they charge the next time you meet them. I also don't recommend that place. No amenities in the room are non-existent and, there are dirty soap dishes and floors when going in. The beds are solid too and so uncomfortable. Also, everything is old and janky but not antique old, just stinky old and smells like it too. They don't even tody the room once while you're there. I failed to see what the price extortion was for. Putting their greedy hands out for money for zero efforts put in by them. The worst. False advertising. I mean check it up and then see what I wrote then you'll see. Was supposed to be posh and full of amenities but it had nothing. My poor mother-in-law paid for a holiday since she found out she has cancer and not long to live too, and even though we gave ourselves a good time just for the kids it was a waste of the thousands she spent on it. They falsely advertise all. It's like getting catfished by Blackpool and a hotel too. Lol. Though I'm serious.

My partner and I was bored so we often have a drive to Blackpool Central pier for a drink and some food. The Pirate Bay bar is a bit rough and ready but I love it! Always a happy vibe and usually have a kids entertainer playing all the old school family bangers like Superman, Sweet Caroline etc. Kids love it. They have some decent live bands on too. Arcades are awesome and the Churro stall is delish, bit pricey but too be expected. The games stalls right near the Churros (ones a ball in basket type and the other ring on hook type) was so entertaining! Purely for the guy that works on there, he is brilliant. I had literal tears laughing at his comments to entice people to play. Top guy!! Right next to central pier there is a little bar with outdoor seating. This was a gem of a find, great selection of drinks and a really nice, chilled atmosphere. Was lovely watching the sunset and tide rolling in. Anyway, out of the 3 piers Central is definitely my favourite.

Always a great place to take the kids and there's always something to do. Could be a bit cleaner in places and I wouldn't buy a cup of tea from the stands on the front pier as the water isn't great. The toilets you have to pay for 30p I think but we just all use the bigger one as a family. On the pier for the funfair you can get 25 tickets for £20 which goes a long way as most of the kids rides are 2 tickets each apart from the ferris wheel which is 4 tickets for adults and 2 tickets for under 10s, the ferris wheel is really good to go the kids love it, my kids are 3 and 4. The donkey rides are £4 each. Always lots of parking too which is around £6 for a full day. If you want a cheaper day out the beach is good fun, not the cleanest but the kids are happy enough playing. The horse and carriage rides are around £20 a go so not cheap but definitely worth a go if your budget allows. An all round great family day out.
