I only gave one star because it wouldn't let me give 0! I ordered food online and paid upfront. I waited up with my son and it didn't arrive. When I called them it was closed. (I waited over 2 hours)! I had a notification that it had been dispatched and also delivered!!! Next day I called them and explained. They said I hadn't placed an order. Shouted abuse at me and hung up.So I paid them a visit in person. (1 woman with 2 kids). When I arrived 3 staff members all had different stories. One had delivered it but couldn't describe my house (trust me its an unusual property so not easily forgotten). Another said they cancelled the order and the other said they never received it! They then tried to show me someone else order. Said they had called me. So I showed them I had no missed calls and he tried to show me on his phone where he had called me but he didn't have any outgoing calls in his phone either and once he realised he quickly put his phone away. No refund, offer to replace the food or apology for hanging up on me. They then decided that I gave them no house number. My house doesn't have a number just a name. he then said that when he arrived my house doesn't exist!!!! I sleep there every night. The whole experience is laughable! They lied to cover lies. Have no customer service skills and I ve looked through other reviews since and Im not the first person they have done this to. Still no refund ( I wouldnt leave. review had they apologised and refunded me). WONT use again. Cant comment on food quality because I never...
Read moreI popped into The Village Pizzeria at 24 Foxhall Road in Blackpool last weekend, and wow, what a find! This place is a proper hidden gem, tucked away but well worth seeking out. The vibe is cozy and laid-back, with a rustic Italian feel—think wooden tables and the smell of fresh pizza dough wafting from the kitchen.I went for a classic Margherita pizza, and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve had. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, with just the right amount of char. The tomato sauce had this fresh, tangy kick, and the mozzarella was so creamy it practically melted in my mouth. My mate got the Pepperoni Feast, and the generous pile of spicy pepperoni didn’t disappoint. We also shared some garlic bread, which was golden, buttery, and gone in minutes. Everything tasted like it was made with real care, and the prices were super fair for the quality. The staff were an absolute highlight—friendly, quick, and happy to chat about the menu. Our server even recommended a local craft beer that paired brilliantly with the pizza. The place was spotless, and the food came out fast, piping hot, and presented like they actually cared about the experience. If you’re in Blackpool and craving proper Italian pizza, The Village Pizzeria is the spot. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreIf you’re a true pizza lover, prepare yourself — this pie is the real deal.
From the moment it hit the table, the aroma was irresistible: the perfect mix of bubbling cheese, tangy tomato sauce, and that unmistakable scent of a freshly baked crust. One bite, and I was hooked.
The crust? Absolute perfection — golden brown with just the right crunch on the outside, and soft, airy goodness on the inside. It held up beautifully under the weight of the toppings without ever going soggy.
The sauce was rich and flavorful, striking that perfect balance between sweet and acidic, with hints of herbs that gave it a homemade feel. The cheese — oh, the cheese — was creamy, stretchy, and generously layered, melting into every bite.
Toppings were fresh and thoughtfully chosen. Whether it was pepperoni with crispy edges, veggies with the right bite, or the drizzle of garlic oil on top — every detail was done right.
This pizza didn’t just satisfy a craving — it set the bar higher. It’s the kind of pizza that makes you close your eyes and say, “Mmm,” without even realizing it.
⭐ Final Verdict: 10/10. A must-try for anyone who believes pizza is more than just food...
