BEWARE TAKE EAR PLUGS. I have been into this bar twice now, to see what it’s like. Each time I spent about £20 on drinks and snacks. With the situation as it reads below, I would not be staying for a prolonged full meal. It is Beautifully Decorated, lovely atmosphere and food, very good. So why am I complaining you may ask? Well during my two visits, there were quite a number of dogs in the bar. I have 4 of my own, but at home, so I am not opposed to dogs. But for the duration of my visit I had to listen to a cacophony of dog barks. Every time one barked it set the others off!!!! That’s what dogs do, you might say, true, but when your are asking people to sit and maybe celebrate with a lovely meal, or maybe a meal with friends, or just a couple having a well earned meal out, all of whom may have well paid a lot of money for, it has to be asked if barking dogs is appropriate. You may think that more income will be generated from people with dogs, but just to be fair about my review. I walked around to where the dogs were and the owners were only having coffee or drink, having perhaps walked on the beach with their dogs. Allowing dogs in is a lovely idea, but some of the diners today were in the brink of shouting “ shut that dog up “ me being...

Just want to say a HUGE thankyou to all of the staff for yesterday unbeknownst to me my friends had organised a surprise birthday meal. there was over ten of us and as we all ordered separately via QR code and at bar ( I know how insanely stressful that can be for both front of house and kitchen) we were dealt with amazingly.

I know it was insanely difficult due to how busy it had been over the weekends air show and stock was depleated and sadly some menu items weren’t available but everyone got a lovely meal. There were a few mistakes which were rectified immediately and with nothing but smiles and politeness. Front of house you could tell we’re exhausted but every single one of them was smiling and gave great service.

They sang when they brought the cake cant thank all of them enough for accommodating us all and making it a lovely evening.

Huge shout out to all the people in the kitchen especially Ben and Liam for the team work and food.

Credit to the company all of you who served us you all smashed it and again thank you you made a lovely evening even greater you worked so...

Visited for lunch the other day. It had a lovely vibe and the food was great. I had an ice matcha latte and chicken bacon avocado burger, all delicious and very reasonably priced!

Unfortunately, it was clearly understaffed and was a very stressed environment for those working there, which really hampered my partner and I’s lunch date. The Front of House members were stressed out and clearly having to do multiple jobs at once and getting ordered around at people behind the bar. I saw two younger staff members talk for a brief second and got told off but yet all the other members behind the bar were giggling and joking to each other without consequence. The behaviour of those in management positions was appalling towards younger staff members. All of this listed above created a very chaotic and busy environment meaning I couldn’t enjoy my lunch. I would return again but I am concerned for the general well being of staff members and the environment of the Lounge! Changes clearly need to be made/implemented...

First time visiting Costero Lounge at a very busy time on New Year's day for a hot drink. Unfortunately I queued to place an order for over 10 minutes. During this time there were other staff members behind the bar doing various things but ignoring the queue and only 1 person taking orders. However, the drinks were delivered to the table fast by pleasant staff and were great. Atmosphere was really lovely and dogs being so welcomed was really appreciated. Since visiting I've discovered I could have possibly ordered online which didn't seem to be obvious anywhere when sitting looking at the menu. I'd take this option next time rather than queuing for so long. Looking forward to visiting again when it's a little less new and slightly smoother operating might be in place to try some of the huge variety of amazing sounding food on offer.

Went here as we went to see the Rivieia Bike Night which takes place every Wednesday after 6:0pm throughout the summer months raising money for good causes. It's a new establishment only been open a few months, but honestly I wouldn't bother. Where do I start, beer was warm and flat (San Miguel) how can that be? Food served cold and the coleslaw smelt of mould. Staff filling up their vapes at the bar, no real cohesion amoungst the staff. Asked for French mustard and got America No1 English mustard, see photo. The toilets were disgusting as they allow people from the beach to freely use these even though they are not customers. This was not allowed when it was a Havester Resturant. It's a shame as I had high hopes for a nice evening enjoying our meal, but it wasn't to be. Try it if you wish.

Went here for a birthday dinner. You are not allowed to book so pop luck if you can get a table and have to fight for one when it does become free. Then table is not cleaned and reset for you as staff are too busy to notice. You order via the qr code on table. Service is extremely slow. For main and desserts, it took two and a half hours. Food is very nice but portion sizes for the desserts were very small and not worth the money or the wait. This restaurant is not designed with wheelchairs in mind and no gap between tables to fit a wheelchair through. This is unexpected as it's a new restaurant and this should be something as a standard when designing a new restaurant. Would go back but just me and the kids and when I have plenty of time to spare for the wait.
