Castle Fine Art, York — Attraction in Great Britain

Bought some lovely pieces from here. They were very knowledgeable about the artists we were looking for and extremely helpful in our choices. A very good deal on price and it included installation in our home. Dan was exceptional when hanging our pieces and was very careful, both in his own work, and also in taking great care not to affect anything else - unlike most workmen.

After installation, we had a change of heart on one of the pieces. Stuart and his team were very helpful in arranging a swap over for a new piece by the same artist and, once again, Dan did a fantastic job in switching them over. He's a real asset to...

Beautiful art spoilt by lazy, uninterested and rude staff. Blantantly playing solitare on his laptop no interaction with potential clients, not even a grumble of a greeting, then as we left he rose from his seat with a sigh to hastely slam the door behind us actually hitting me in the arm as the door slammed shut. As we stood in a state of shock, in two minds to challenge this bizarre behaviour, he did the exact same to another customer. This gallery seriously needs to address his behaviour as could potentailly costing them thousands....

This is a long overdue review. I was enticed to enter into this store on my last visit to York. The proprietor was a delightful young man who did not mind answering any of my many questions. There is some beautiful artwork from a variety of artists, I think my favourite being #BillyConnolly. His art is very spontaneous and a little bit weird.
