Coins thrown at me!!! If I could give 0 stars I would! From the moment we stepped in a Lady who worked there seated us however ignored one member of our party and was going to only give us a table of 3 when there was 4 of us! One member of our party has a gluten intolerance however this waitress, middle aged blonde hair, disregarded this allergy with an eye roll. Our garlic bread starter arrived upside down on the plate as if it had been chucked onto there. Mains arrived cold and unseasoned. We continued to be polite to our server yet she still was passive aggressive towards us. When we asked to pay she slammed down a card with a qr code on for us to pay with despite us wanting to pay partly with cash. We then scanned the qr code to find that a £10 service charge had been added so we asked her to remove it. We proceeded to ask three different waiters for a paper bill and to confirm whether the service charge had been removed. It took 20 minutes for us to receive a paper bill and card machine. We split the bill evenly with 3 paying card and 1 paying cash. My friend who paid in cash payed with a £20 note was told by the same waitress, middle aged woman with blonde hair, that she could not give my friend the correct amount of change she owed us as she didn't have it on her so told us to leave. However we did not want to leave still being owed money so I walked back over to her alone whilst my friends waited outside. She proceeded to shout and point in my face saying that the 6p doesn't matter. I asked her to check in a till or ask a coworker for the change due to my dissatisfactory experience. She walked over to her coworker whilst muttering under her breath about me. Her coworker, male early 60s, grabbed a handful of change out of his apron and threw all of the coins so aggressively onto the table at me which left me feeling absolutely violated and also vulnerable as I was alone and felt threatened by this man and women's actions toward me. She then proceeded to give me the change however it should not have took this amount of time and hassle and aggression for me to receive my correct amount of change!

Absolutely disgusted with this place so do not go unless you want to feel unsafe by violently threatening staff and disregarded from an allergy perspective (gluten...

This is a tale of two restaurants, the first had excellent service a warm cozy atmosphere and The otheir disappointing lack of care food . It started well the waitress was lovely and attentive, drinks came quickly. We then ordered.. the starter should of been a warning. We had calamari and garlic bread. There was more crumb than calamari which was also painfully small. The garlic bread was no better.. it was cooked but very bland and lacked colour. Then main courses came as we were a group of five two had pasta dishes, the feed back was positive but not outstanding. The biggest disappointment were the pizza based dished, the calzone base was bland undercooked the tomato and cheese topping sloppy and rather than a golden crust with no Charing to bring depth of flavour, the margaritas and the ham and mushroom the same. It cooked enough to be edible but just lacked love and care. Would we go back sadly no not even for the lovely funny waitress @Ā£150 for five an...

This is a chain restaurant, but it’s great. Now it has a Christmas special menu. Besides the normal menu, there’s a set menu from which you can choose 2 courses or 3. They are both around Ā£20 and Ā£25 if I remember correctly. We all chose the 2 course menu and we ate well. Didn’t have space for dessert or even dinner! Food is tasty and prices are not bad. Service is friendly. The location makes this restaurant a popular stop as it is in a busy area. Nonetheless, we didn’t have to wait long to get a table. Bear in mind that they are going to charge a service fee and it’s rather high (we paid Ā£2,6 pp). They add it to the bill without asking and I’m not sure if it’s optional. Toilets are downstairs so not really accessible and the restaurant is small and not much space between tables so I would not recommend for wheelchair users or people with movement difficulties. Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. They have a...

We went for an early dinner between Harry Potter and the cursed child part 1 & 2 as the place is close to the Palace Theatre. We were able to get a table without reservation. The staff was very friendly and quite quick without one feeling ushered. They have a good drinks selection both alcoholic and alcohol free. They also have a good selection of different pasta and pizza dishes. There is a monthly special of fusion recipes (September: Katsu Carbonara) We had two different pasta dishes which were good but not outstanding. The pasta tasted like store bought pasta and not self-made and the sauces were good but again not overwhelming. The ham in the carbonara was proper ham though! Prices were okay for the area. If you're looking for a place to get a quick meal, that's not some local fast food chain, before popping off to the theatre, this might be the place for you.
