A Halal Chinese place.
I haven't gone in personally but a family member did. She said the service was great, staff were very polite and given that it's new, it was quite clean and atmosphere looked great.
Unfortunately, all of the above cannot make the food any better - that requires skill. I would rate Chopstix as one of the worst noodle chains and sadly this is somewhat similar.
If you like Chopstix, then you'd certainly like this. However, if you're looking for an authentic Chinese experience, probably best not to go here.
We had the chicken chow mein with black bean sauce - too salty, hardly any chicken and the portion size far too small for £8.28
Cannot recommend.
EDIT:
After the response provided, I'd like to clarify this wasn't a recommendation but a family member who just walked in.
You say you take on feedback, but instead just started defending yourself as opposed to addressing the comments raised on the dish.
If you believe that after one dish is "hard to compare" to Chopstix, then perhaps you food should be better from the individual meals, as opposed to me finding out further by ordering more?
I hope you do well given this is one of the few HMC Chinese places around, but you genuinely have to take feedback on board and learn from it as opposed to defending yourself at every given...

Read moreHow long have I waited to find a good halal Chinese takeaway. I used to buy mine from a wife and husband, but unfortunately after covid they decided to close up after 30 years of running there takeaway. I have tried so many different takeaways to get my simple special fried rice, none could come close to my old takeaway until I popped into Kung Pao Panda. I thought I'd try it out, I gave up looking for the old school special fried rice with curry sauce. So on my second visit in a week I thought I'd ask for my favourite dish, to my amazement it was perfect, just the way i like it. So now I'm a regular ordering at least once a week.
The service is great.
A bit tight on the curry sauce but seeing I'm a regular, I've been told its on the house for me. Regulars keep businesses alive and I don't mind paying for it but it was a lovely gesture from the brother.
I bit too cold for a sit down, but come summer I'll be there to eat in too.
Food is great and they ain't tight with there portions and meats.
Keep up the great work...
