What a fantastic experience! Visited during the summer holidays with 2 children (5 years, 1 year)...they absolutely loved it! Wasn't busy to say it was a lovely day in the middle of summer...after buying tickets (no queue) we were pretty much straight on the train. They have cartridges suitable for prams which we used, however only a few and noticed some people needed to collapse their pram if there wasn't enough space. Lovely little trip through the woods. It is a very short trip, a walkable distance, but a great experience! We popped into the tea room at the other end before returning!

This is a fantastic little train ride for train lovers and kids alike. It doesn't last long, but it's a beautiful,scenic journey through the park, and it's an absolute bargain at £3 return for adults. I enjoyed taking the train to the end and walking back through the woods. This railway is run by volunteers who are lovely and friendly, and you can really feel their love for this delightful little railway. This is definitely a must visit for any family during their trip to Saltburn.

We parked in the car park at the end of the park the train was running today, its an out and back line, it is just a few minutes long but its only a couple of pound its ideal for the kids although it was full of adults and oaps and very few kids today 😂, we didn't ride the train but walked the park next to the line, a nice stroll a few play areas for the children and an italian garden and tea house at the end.

Fantastic little railway that’s a fun short journey through Valley Gardens. We visited with family to see Santa. What a wonderfully organised event, with friendly and enthusiastic volunteers. It began at the station where we were greeted my elf’s, then a train ride to the grotto in valley gardens, refreshments, saw Santa and then the train back.

Lovely little train, staff were really friendly and the scenery was lovely. Even though there was an issue with one of the trains the volunteers kept us informed and we was up and running in no time.

It's a short little ride but definitely worth it. You can go one way for £1.50 or it's £2 for a return. The walk back is short and pleasant though. Staff are very friendly and nice!
