Terrible experience.
I have a washer that's still under warranty but the company Maytag was going to send out was going to take almost 3 weeks. Since I had standing water because it was a potential drain clog I called Xigent and they said if it was just a simple clog they could do that but if it was a pump I'd be better off to use the warranty. I was very clear when making the appointment that it was under warranty.
When the technician Mike came to my house he did not open or any panels or evaluate anything on the washer just looked at the outside and told my son that he didn't have the part so it wasn't going to take it apart. When I called Xigent and told them that the technician did literally nothing besides step into my house they told me that they wouldn't touch a washer that's under warranty.
Since I was clear about the warranty when I scheduled I asked for my money back ($100 just to come out) since they knew they weren't going to do anything for me before they even came out. When they didn't call me back as promised after 2 days I went to the office and the manager Mark was disinterested and even though he acknowledged they should have never come out in the first place only refunded half of the charge but told me they weren't going to do more than that.
I would absolutely not recommend this company and the person who referred me no longer will either. They may do good work when they actually evaluate appliances but I wouldn't know. Still have water in my washer and...
Read moreThis company was used through our home warranty and they made 3 appointments without notifying me first and just showed up at my house and expected me to be available to them. And when they actually called me and we scheduled a service call. At the end of the service call I asked the tech about the big box in the kitchen and he said That is recycling and you can take care of that, but I will take care of these switches" I was just shocked as I have never had appliance repair that had not cleaned up there mess. After he left I went to the kitchen opened up the box to find a big piece of metal the size of my stove top in the box :-( I was so upset. That would not even fit in my garbage can. I called the company and was told by the gentlemen " I would have to ask upper management if we can take your parts away because I dint think we do that" it wasn't until I said I was going to leave a review that he seemed more concerned with getting it picked up:-( its been 24 hrs and I went to use the oven and found that my oven door does not stay open, so I called them yet again and was told that I need to call the home warranty in case they need parts to fix the oven door. I told them" My oven door was never broke, until you fixed the inside of oven. This is all unacceptable service. The man who schedules the service is very rude everytime I speak to him and it seems all they care about is money otherwise the would be out here fixing what the tech broke. Read moreI have to tell you, Keith redeemed your business. We were scheduled to have the icemaker kit installed last Friday between 8 & noon, at 11:30 I called your dispatch to get an ETA. I was told the guy had a much longer job and was about finished, would take lunch. We waited all day and at a little after 4 I received a call form your dispatch telling me he wouldn't be coming and would need to be worked in sometime Monday, then he looked and said no we are going to have to work it in on sometime on Wednesday. I told him I had waited all day on Friday and you couldn't show me the courtesy to give me a specific time, just work me in and I would have to wait around all day again and I paid the full amount in cash up front? He said lady, everone in front of you has paid too, and you had committents to them first. I was going to wait until the service was completed on Wednesday and then let you know my disapointment in the way your problem to take care of business became my problem, the business of taking care of me had no worth to your company and your customer service was rude on the phone and disrespectful. Then I received a call today, that Keith would be here before noon June 6th, which he was and had us up and running in no time.
