Fashion clothing store pretending to be a sports clothing store. My wife and I are runners in our 30’s. We came here looking for some new gear, specifically running bras and pants. At first the store looks great. It is clean and brightly lit. The patrons are also clean cut, fit, and trendy looking. There is a young and dapper security guard posted in the center of the store. Then, we realized it’s hard to find things because the store is sorted by brand instead of by sport or function. There isn’t just a rack of running bras. You have to go to the Adidas bra section and the Nike bra section and the Under Armor bra section and three or more other places to find them all. In each place there is maybe one bra designed for actual running. The rest are all designed for fabletics or athleisure, offering no support, but sporting lots of fashionable and unnecessary straps and cutouts. The pants are just as bad. Every single pair is a tapered fit that will be tight around the knees and calves. Don’t do a squat in these or you will cut of circulation. They will look great on you as long as you are an 18 year old with really skinny calves and you don’t intend to do anything in them but stand. If you really care about having consistent logos on all your gear and looking fabulous and sporty, this is a good store to go to. If you actually want to exercise hard, Big 5, or even better, Heart and Sole, will be a better...
Read moreI took my one item up to the register and the woman standing there folding clothes told me to wait for someone else to come check me out and when the other woman showed up, she didn’t even look at me. She continued to talk to her coworker, the woman folding clothes. When the woman folding clothes gestured at me to try and get the cashier to pay attention to me, the cashier replied, “yea I know, I see her.” And continued talking. She took my item in her hand and instead of ringing it up, she just held it in her hand while she talked to her coworker about the coffee someone else had brought her earlier. Every time she spoke to me, she did so as an afterthought, is if I was an inconvenience to her. Her tone was short and her responses to me were clipped. What could’ve been a 30 second transaction, had she given me her full attention and after which she very easily could’ve gone back to her conversation, ended up taking several minutes. I wish I had caught her name because I know she can do better. Weird that someone’s whose actual job it is to be a cashier can’t even interact...
Read moreMy son and I arrived at approximately 6:30 pm on a Tuesday with the intention of purchasing him a new pair of shoes. Despite waiting in the shoe department for a considerable amount of time, we did not receive any assistance. After searching the store for an employee and failing to find one, we approached a cashier at the checkout counter to request assistance. Although the cashier radioed for help, no one came to assist us when we returned to the shoe department. Disappointed by the lack of service, we ultimately decided to leave. On our way out, we encountered an employee who was stocking a shelf, but she did not acknowledge our presence. We opted to take our business elsewhere. There were several people shopping the shoe department who also could have used help so I imagine more than just our...
