This location has just got worse and worse every time we go to the mall. I used to always buy a game when weād go and havenāt done so for the past couple months. This is mostly due to lack of selection including no stock of new releases. The store is just piles and piles of overwhelming amounts of junk merchandise. There is so much stuff in there that people can barely move around making it an uncomfortable experience. The latest is they removed the Xbox games entirely and filled it with you guessed it more junk merchandise. The switch games and ps5/4 games are all mostly vertical so unless you know specifically what you want youāre gonna spend a lot of time reading every label. Never receive any greeting much less help. What is going on GameStop? I also cancelled my pro membership because there really no benefit other than saving $1 here and there on already discounted games. The points now also expire. I had nearly 500,000 points and was told that if I didnāt use them Iād lose them. Do you realize how long it took me to acquire that many points as well as how much money had to be spent? Everything is just going down hill for GameStop. We attempted to return the game as defective and were offered half of what we paid in store credit. The guy working there tried to get us to buy insurance for our game and even said broken cartridges happen frequently. I think itās pretty wild to not refund our money on a fake that didnāt work to begin with. We tried to return the game within a week.
