Updated Review Since the last review i wrote i have been in a couple different times now and i must say the staff been nothing but wonderful and accommodating. They are always welcoming and kind now and help me with opinions on what i should get or not ( im indecisive) they have the utmost patience with me but i have since spent a considerable amount of money and time here now because of how much my experience has changed. I do strongly apologize for my last review but i definitely love it here now :’) please forgive me. Wonderful place to go and they always have new options !!! Great people. Great atmosphere. Great selection ! Absolutely one of if not my favorite place to go :) We were not welcomed in on my most recent visit around 4:30pm on 6/22 . i usually have a wonderful experience there and buy things because the employees working there are super sweet to me so i like to show support but today when i had gone we did not get a welcome in and got a rude “you can’t have your drink in here “ . she wasn’t very friendly at all and when my boyfriend had asked if there was anywhere he could throw it away she said “no we don’t have a trash in here “ also in a rude tone. we didn’t maliciously bring the drink in to disobey the rules . we simply forgot. we went to eat right before and i had gone to get a shirt i had seen prior and it was an all around bad experience. we both work in customer service so we understand people have bad days but she did not welcome us in . she didn’t even tell us nicely about the drink thing. she said it extremely rude and it ruined the whole experience. i did not end up buying the shirt. i was really disappointed because as i had stated many times i love that store. i love talking to the employees. they’re usually friendly but this one today was not and i was just a bit bothered. i’m sure she was having a bad day or something but he had harmlessly bought in his drink on accident and asked if there was anywhere he could throw it so we could purchase the shirt and she had been so rude for no reason. i understand drink policies we had just missed the sign because we had come in from the right side of the entrance. If I could, I would give them a 0 after last night’s experience. I honestly love their merchandise, and even spent a good amount of money there to treat myself. I just don’t trust their employees anymore, some of them are thieves. I placed my several bags from previous stores on their counter to try some jewelry on, and the employee said that she would watch my bags. I was still nearby and just looked into the mirror for a brief moment. After I was done, I thought that I grabbed all my bags, but apparently I left one that was over $100. I called them as soon as they opened the next day, but they, including the manager said that nothing was left. How can that be when I had all of my bags left on their counter, and there wasn’t any customers there. I asked if they had any cameras, and she said no, but why would they not have at least one camera. I honestly believe they are lying, and one of the employees took it. My daughter who is nine years old recently told me she is tired of dressing like a little girl and feels like she would feel more like herself in darker "goth" clothes.

Obviously as a Dad that is not part of this culture, I didn't know where to start. Some people on reddit recommended this store and I'm so thankful they did.

On Saturday March 9th I took my daughter to this store right when they opened. I explained the situation to the woman working there and I explained that I was clueless about this culture.

The woman was wonderful and gave us the best customer service I've ever received. She gave us the ins and outs of "goth" and picked out 5 outfits for my daughter that were "goth" but also appropriate for a young lady.

We wound up buying 2 of the outfits. My daughter was so excited and I feel a lot more comfortable about my daughter exploring this subculture. The outfits were expensive. But it was totally worth it for the service and knowledge she gave this out of touch...
