Daiso - Japanese Household Goods — Attraction in Aldine

I went in because my little brother (16) loves Japanese snacks and he wanted to check it out but I ended up loving the store myself. The items have Japanese prices on them but they have posters all over the store with the US price conversions. It's not a big store but it has lots of things in there. It reminds me of a Dollar Tree but an organized and clean version of one. You can find Japanese drinks, snacks, pet items, desk items, household items, beauty products, organization items, etc. I ended up buying 3 clear containers to organize my dogs wet food and my applesauce inside the fridge. Each container was $1.75, I went to Marshall's next door afterwards because I love that store, but their clear containers with the same dimensions were $6 each. I know another review on here mentioned that they don't accept refunds or exchanges but their prices are reasonable especially when you compare them to other US stores. Omg so disappointed of this store today was my first visit to the store didn’t care I was already late for work I really wanted to surprise my daughters with some items. Report cards were sent home and I always try so surprise them with gifts for keeping good grades I grabbed cute items for them and all for nothing I had no change I only had a couple more of hundred dollar bills and the cashier said she didn’t have no change for a hundred dollar bill I was so upset about it she said with an attitude we don’t have no change I couldn’t believe a big store like that is not gonna be prepared to give out change she also said she don’t make up the rules and I get it but please 🙏 I beg you at least put a sign or let your costumers know trust me you don’t know what people go through on their daily basis at least don’t waste there time also let people know here through the google map I really don’t care anymore cause I’m just gonna go back to Miniso Store on 1960 never ever had a problem with large bills...

Lowest rating I could give is a 1 but I’d rate a zero if possible. Purchase 4 bags of chips. Opened 2 immediately after I left in the parking lot and both were stale. Took them back in to ask for an exchange and explained I buy these all the time and they usually are crunchy. Clerk said she wasn’t really supposed to exchange anything without manager approval but manager was not there: asked her what to pit herself in my shoes and asked to exchange, not refund. She said I’m really not supposed to let you do that. I said if it were you, wouldn’t you expect to buy something edible and be able to exchange if it’s not the quality you’re used to ? She said no, I’d probably just throw them away. Poor customer service from a clerk that simply doesn’t care and obviously has money to throw away and no common courtesy.
