I love this mall. It used to be the best spot for shopping or just hanging around few years ago, we would love to see it thrive again!! While the pandemic prob hit it hard, the opening of Avalon didnt help either- I desperately want this mall to come back to, what it used to be- the pretty , shiny mall with PLENTY of store brands to choose from (just like Perimeter mall is)- the absence of the popular teen brands, such as Hollister & Abercrombie&Fitch and even GAP, the Disney store , that was ALWAYS packed , or the very popular American girl store, need to come back, please?! To shop Hollister or Abercrombie Alpharetta and Milton residents must now travel to Perimeter mall? Windsor was popular too and it just recently closed at Northpoint. Thank GOD for the ONLY trendy stores - AERI and American eagle, that survived and are the only hip , fashionable stores left!! Teens are prob the ones, who stores should focus on, as they like to hang out at malls a LOT. The playground needs major updating, maybe add some free kid activities for the moms at home with their lil ones, years ago, Perimeter mall had a musician with puppets come once a week and entertain the little ones, something, that be will attract parents again. We need diversity in our everyday lives & In retail as well!! While online shopping might be convenient, for a lot of people it will NEVER replace an actual store, where we can try things on, see them in person, touch the fabric, try sizes, see the way things fit, it just doesnt translate from a picture on a website, and not only clothing or shoes, some things you just wont buy without seeing it first. Not to mention, some people actually love the process of shopping, going with a girlfriend and try things on. And while Avalon might be great for walking around, eat and get ice cream- its not for shopping. The overly overpriced store brands are just not it!! Theres nothing to buy. Unless you desire leggings for $80, when you can get the same ones for $25 on amazon. Please, please revive this mall for all the Alpharetta, Milton shoppers, we dont want to travel to far away malls and are used...
Read moreWorst carousel experience ever !
I paid 3 dollars each for my two kids and after the first ride done, my kids wanted to do more and I walked to the cashier and ready to pay again, and the white lady who worked there told me it would be free and I didn’t have to pay. And I said thank you to her and found a seat next to carousel and sat down. I bet that was the third ride my kids were on, I was reading my phone, suddenly I heard the same white lady starting to yelling at me saying “ your kids cannot ride anymore!” I had no idea what happened, I walked up to the lady thought maybe I missed the payment for the rides. I asked “ how many rides for 3 dollars? “ The white lady bothered to see stand up and explain everything to me, instead she was just sitting there showing her back to me and responded “what ?” She probably thought I was trying to make an argument with her. I repeated question and told her I was trying to pay again just now. She said “ that was not it, they were not listening! “ I had no idea what my kids did, since they were just sitting on the carousel the same as how they were for the first two rides! The white lady could’ve just let me know when she first had trouble with my kids instead of suddenly getting mad at me and kicked out my kids. My kids are only 6 years old ! This is the worst carousel experience ever! We had been to this carousel many times before and other carousels elsewhere too, we were never treated this way. I guess the white lady never had any kids ! So rude...
Read moreThis place needs a good cleaning. Let's start with the smelly bathroom. No paper towels and the air dryers are broke. Smells like there mopping with toilet water.
All the tables are dirty and the ones that they are cleaning are being washed with the same rag for all the tables even the chairs you sit on. They should be using two separate towels for the chairs and tables. I looked at the water in her bucket and it was black nasty water.
I cleaned my own table and with in a few minutes there is a guy in a wheelchair asking for money. Bouncing from one table to another. But I watched him closely he would look around for security. then he would leave a paper on the table asking for money then he would move on for few minutes. Then he would return to your table and see if u wanted to give. I understand some of them ask for money and need help. I have helped many of people in need. But this guy was suspicious when he kept hiding like he knew he was doing wrong. U barley even see security walking around.
There just needs to be a big over view of this mall or I see it going down hill even more. I've been coming to this mall sense it was first built. To bad it could be like it use to be.
This mall is way to crowded for that train that takes 1 or 2 kids around . I think close it down till after the holidays
