My boyfriend, who lives out of town, ordered me flowers, and they werenât delivered. When he realized that I didnât have them, but that there was a delivery notification, he called and was told they were delivered. They werenât delivered. Someone from the company called and told me that they put them on the doorstep, but that they were âtucked awayâ. However, we have video surveillance of the porch and would have been notified of anyone stepping foot near our doorstep. When I explained this, they said that maybe it was the wrong doorstep. She said we live in an area where delivery problems are common (not at all the case, weâve never had that problem) and said âif you donât see them then we can bring more flowers but only free of delivery, or you can go around the neighborhood and ask your neighbors if they have themâ I explained that we were about to leave for the evening and that I donât have time to ask each of my neighbors (which is a ridiculous thing to even expect me to do) and she said the person that actually delivered the flowers would call back in 5 min. I decided to start looking around, and after about 10 minutes, one of the neighbors we asked said he had seen some flowers on a doorstep earlier while he was walking his dog. He lead us to the house, which was three blocks away from our house in an entirely different neighborhood. A neighborhood that I never would have thought to look in. And they were not tucked away like they woman suggested, they were in plain sight in the center of the doormat, we would have noticed them if it were the right house. In the meantime, the lady from the flower shop called back, 15 minutes later than she said she would, and left a voicemail (Not knowing that the flowers had been found) that said becuause they had permission to leave them at the doorstep, thereâs nothing they can do as far as replacing them. Which makes sense if they HAD THE RIGHT DOORSTEP! It wasnât even close to the right house (all they had to do was look at the street name). It isnât our fault that they didnât put it at the right house and we shouldnât have had to track down flowers that were paid for and were supposed to be delivered!
I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of apology, the lack of willingness to send new flowers when they were lost, and the fact that they wouldnât even take responsibility for not delivering the flowers correctly, made this an awful experience. I wish I could leave a 0 star review. The customer service was...
Read moreWe ordered flowers and a stuffed cow for a friend that had just given birth. Paid for same day delivery and the flowers never got to the hospital. The next day (Sunday) we called the shop to ask why the flowers where not taken, they were closed. We then called the hospital to see if they had ever been delivered. The hospital keeps a log of all flowers delivered and said they had no record of the flowers coming from the shop. I called the shop to see about a refund. I was told there was nothing they could do. There was no picture of the flowers and no way they could prove to me that they did deliver. All I was told was they took them and thereâs nothing else she could do. We were offered in store credit but we live hours away and have no use for that. I would not recommend this company
To add to this Since the company wanted me to revise my review. When I first called to get a refund over this incident I was told the hospital would not work with Just Because Floral and would not answer/ return their calls. Just after i posted my review the shop called to say the flowers were magically found (weird coincidence). We were then told by Just Because that the hospital would be calling our friend who had given birth to get her address and they would work with a florist in her area to get her flowers since she was discharged before we could get this figured out. The hospital has not called my friend. No flowers have still been delivered and we were still not offered a refund. When we talked to the hospital they let us know that they had no record of flowers ever being delivered.
Still waiting on a refund for the Flowers and stuffed cow we ordered and paid for same...
Read moreQuality and value have really changed for the worse under new ownership. It's a shame because they had always provided such better service and quality than the other local florists. We have been long term regular customers with at least monthly business. We started to notice the decreased quality and value, but hoped that it was temporary. After months of poor quality I finally called to cancel our monthly subscription. I was informed that under new ownership they had realized they needed to charge more for the same products. I informed them that as a loyal customer tamhat may have been fine if anyone had ever discussed with us as it was happening the change in service. I was promised a return phone call which never happened. The final straw was receiving flowers that were dying the same day that I received them. That's when I called and asked for some remedy to be made and was promised the return phone call. The manager did admit that the flowers shouldn't have been packaged that way. All I got in return was the usual charge to my...
