Mater's Junkyard Jamboree — Attraction in Anaheim

The Baseline: For a theme park attraction, a quality experiences must be provided, the attraction must be fun and engaging, an immersive environment must be established, the queue line must be themed, and safety must be a top priority.

Queue: Mater’s Graveyard JamBooree has been given its Halloween overlay and it is a fun overlay. The photo ops are nice in the line but this goes relatively fast so be quick on the poses and the selfies.

Attraction: This is the same Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree ride but with different Halloween themed music. It is a fun to sit, spin, and slide around in the cart for a couple minutes as the ride goes through its cycle. The smooth melodic voice of Mater (aka Larry the Cable Guy) keeps the theme going. This ride, although only a few years old, is in need of a little refurbishment. The track is losing it's surface, the cars are looking warn. Regardless, it's a fun ride that whips you around in a circle while Mater sings a song to you. It's a short ride, the line can be a little long, but the detail of the decorations is very creative and fun. You're under the shade so that's a good thing, especially in the summer. Mater's Graveyard Jamboree es una de esas sorpresas que te arrancan una sonrisa desde que empieza. A simple vista parece una atracción sencilla, con pequeños tractores girando en círculos al ritmo de la música, pero no te dejes engañar: el movimiento es mucho más brusco de lo que esperas, y eso la hace tremendamente divertida.

Ubicada en Cars Land, dentro de Disney California Adventure, esta atracción protagonizada por Mater —el adorable camión de remolque de Cars— es ideal para todas las edades, aunque los adultos también la disfrutan muchísimo. A medida que los tractores se deslizan de un lado a otro, sientes esos cambios repentinos de dirección que provocan carcajadas inevitables. Es ese tipo de diversión inesperada que no necesita velocidad ni efectos especiales para ser memorable.

Un gran plus es que Mater’s Jamboree cambia según la temporada. Durante Halloween se transforma en Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, con música espeluznante (pero amigable) y decoraciones temáticas. En Navidad, se convierte en Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, con villancicos y un ambiente festivo encantador. Estos cambios hacen que quieras regresar en diferentes épocas del año.
