Harold Patterson Sports Center — Attraction in Arlington

My son plays in Arlington Premiere League and we travel from Lubbock. Love these soccer fields. Wish Lubbock fields could look like this. Bathrooms are usually stocked and clean. Recommend you bring your own snacks and waters but they do have a snack bar. The also have a cart that drives around occasionally to offer the convenience of the snack bar brought to you. Field marshal has been spotted on site. Triage trainers are available for injured players. I do believe the referees need further training. In our last game the other team slid tackled one of our players from behind and he wasn't given a card. That dangerous play. Update since my last review: All three of my children have now played on these fields. The refs do seem to be better on making calls for safe play. Awesome park but the staff at the concession stands are very rude. Today was the last straw. My daughter and I was waiting to order and one of the staff pointed to the family behind us and we were thinking maybe they thought we were waiting for food but then the same guy asked another family to take their order. There were at least four staff just staring at us and then I said to one of the staff we were in line and the young lady rudely said I can help you. At that point my daughter and I ordered and while waiting my daughter asked one of the staff could she add something to her order and he said rudely said I can’t help you. The Sports center is pretty good overall. I rate it 5 stars because its much better than other sports places I’ve been to. There are actual bathrooms that are decent. The concession stand is expensive but its good. The fields are good overall and generally well kept. The nets are good and for the amount of people that are there, the place is well kept. Can’t complain too much. There should be a couple more portapotties and such but it is what it is. Also, a couple more diagrams of where the fields are would be helpful.
