Swig — Local services in Arlington

My sister and I went to this store yesterday with my two daughters. Let’s just say we did not leave happy. First we pull up and asked for a kids blended lemonade and was told, “we don’t do that here”. Very confused, we pointed to the menu where it said you can get any beverage blended. She then went inside to ask someone else. She returned a few minutes later to ask if that was all we wanted without ever addressing the situation or apologizing. We then ordered and pulled up to the front. I realized in the chaos, I forgot to add the lime to my drink so I asked the lady at the window if I could add that. She very rudely said, “no I can’t do that.” I said, I understand. I can pay for it. She said, “no I can’t because that’s a whole new order.” Well then we got our food and drinks. My sister and my drink were fine. My daughter’s blended lemonade didn’t even taste like anything, just water. My daughter’s hot chocolate was not great, she didn’t even drink it. The chocolate chip cookies were ice cold and didn’t even seem cooked. You know it’s bad when kids won’t eat the cookies. And the pretzel bites were meh. Swig has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a tasty pick-me-up! Whether I’m craving a dirty soda, a refreshing lemonade, or one of their delicious cookies, Swig never disappoints. The staff is always super friendly, and my order is ready fast, even when they’re busy.

I love how customizable the drinks are—you can mix and match flavors to create your perfect combo. My personal favorite? A Diet Coke with coconut and lime—so good! The treats are also dangerously good (in the best way).

Figured I'd try it out since it was new. Ordered through the app and they mislead you with the pricing shown. They'll show a price for whatever drink, but then you select it and it charges you separately for all the different ingredients that are supposed to come in it. So you're going to pay like 6 bucks for a medium drink unless you get just soda and one add in. They also left out a cinnamon stick that I paid for (even though it was supposed to come in the drink I ordered). Also wasn't that good to be honest. Don't think I'll be going back, I see this as one of those places that closes down in the...
