Iâm back to update my opinion of La-Z-Boy furniture that I purchased 3 1/2 years ago! I highly recommend that you go anywhere else to buy your furniture! Iâve had my furniture 3 1/2 years and Iâm a disabled senior citizen. my furniture is falling apart, and naturally, it is now falling apart! The warranty expired about five or six months ago! Drawer on my console of my rocking recliner will not close, drawer on one of the end tables that I purchased opened it one time to put something in it and it seemed to come off. Itâs track yet. There doesnât seem to be any anyway of putting it back on there! The cushion in the seat that I sit on is breaking down! Weigh 110 pounds and no one else sits here and never has! And theyâre trying to tell me that because I sit here every day all the time that it is naturally going to break down after 3 1/2 years ! These are the words out of customer service mouth! The furniture I had previously for much longer period of time held up much longer, and in fact wasnât in that bad shape when I bought the La-Z-Boy stuff! Itâs over priced on the table that is falling apart, literally faulty. Materials were used to put it together ! And it is literally falling apart! Customer service told me that they could pick it up for $250 and take it into their shop to repair it and Iâd be responsible for labor and materials to repair something that shouldâve been caught long before it was ever delivered to my house ! Iâm a little old lady. I canât turn tables on end to examine them prior to excepting them. I paid over $8500 for this set of furniture. I shouldâve been able to trust to do a good job I would use faulty material and that their labor was so! I donât think anybody would have been turning tables over to make sure that the wood used to build it intact and not rotten and that nothing was loose! OK I didnât use the drawers on my table or my console for a long time, but even so when I opened the drawers, they shouldâve closed without any problem! Again, I highly recommend that you go anywhere else to purchase your furniture. You will probably get better quality at a much more reasonable price than what you will ever pay at La-Z-Boy and maybe even get a better warranty and customer service than what La-Z-Boy offers! Buyer beware Priced junk!
When I purchased my living room suite I was told that the delivery would be 12-16 weeks! I called about three weeks before the expected date and was told that it was extended another 4 weeks! When I asked why I was told it was due to Covid-19. When I questioned that I was told I could always just get a refund! Since I had already waited so long I didnât want to do that! So I waited. Then on my second call I was informed that it had been extended another 2 weeks! Again I asked why and was told that they would investigate it and call me back! They didnât call! So after about 5 days I called again and was told that they had extended it another 2 weeks!! That would be 51/2 months after I had placed my order!! I am afraid if I call back now that the delivery date is nearing that I will be told of another extension!! If I do not receive my furniture by the last date quote I will be demanding a full refund! So unless you are willing to wait 6-12 months to get your furniture, I highly recommend you go...
   Read moreI went to La-Z-Boy during their memorial day sale, after having been to several other furniture stores looking at recliners.I never owned any piece of La-Z-Boy furniture, nor had I been to the store before then. Mike Summerlin greeted me at the store and obtain some basic information from me regarding what I was looking for in a recliner. Having never owned a lazy boy recliner before, he also showed me some unique features that I never wouldâve picked up on my own. After pointing me in the right direction based on what I was looking for, he let me shop on my own.
I found the La-Z-Boy product to be very high-quality. The leather was very soft, but also thicker than some of the other leather recliners I saw at other stores. The foam material was also very firm and much more comfortable than any other recliner Iâve been in.I was very impressed with the fact that la-z-boy takes into account customer height when designing specific recliners. Other recliners may leave your feet dangling if you donât move the foot rest out. Even though their prices were a bit more than other recliners, I felt that you get what you pay for in this instance.
After I decided on a recliner Mike checked on availability and found what I needed at their warehouse in Dallas. Explanation of their warranty, return policy, and care for the leather was fully explain to me. Pick up was arranged and I did get the recliners two days later.

   Read moreI called this store this morning to try to order a chair from my mother. The sales person was so rude! She did explain why she couldnât take payment over the phone which I completely understand but her tone was so dismissive. I explained my mother has dementia and I was trying to deliver a chair to her in her facility and that store was the closest. After she explained the process in a very put out tone, she quoted me a price of 200.00 more than the chair sells online and other stores because they âPre treat!â When I brought that up because I was wondering and asked her if I should call back when it was on sale I was told âThen go buy it somewhere else.â I had already ordered the chair online the night before to only receive an email after payment of course, it would be a 19 week wait. Calling the store was the quickest way to get a chair to my mother and to be treated this way after already dealing with the online disaster and the nature of why I am calling to begin is it really to much to ask for someone to be kind and helpful especially when they are making a sale? I called back to speak with a manager and she pretended she was someone else and wouldnât transfer the call. I called a store close to my home in Colorado which things cost more here and they were so nice walked the floor and found me a nice chair for 399.00 and yes it is pretreated.
