Appliance Parts Etc — Attraction in Arnold Township

This place is by far the best around when it comes to appliance parts, service, and that good old fashioned knowledge that so many other places don't have.

After calling about a dozen places looking for a no longer available transmission for my GE washer, I called Appliance Parts. They were extremely friendly and took the time to listen to my problem I was having. A short time later, the lady called me back and said they had a rebuilt transmission for my washer! I was elated! This was after calling many other places, many of which were rude and didn't want to be bothered by someone looking for old or used parts. Appliance Parts takes the time to help people locate parts for older appliances and they seem to genuinely care about their customers. I haven't had to use them for a service call but I would imagine they are top notch too in that field.

In short. I highly reccommend Appliance Parts. They are helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and take the time to listen. I will definitely be a returning customer for any appliance needs I may have...

(2024) Our oven igniter went out right before dinner. A quick call to the shop and they confirmed they had a replacement in stock! Picked up, installed, and the oven working again in less than an hour!

(2023) I wish I could leave a second review. I needed to go back, for a heating element for a dryer this time. I called ahead and talked with Trish who confirmed the make/model of our dryer, the part, and that they had it in stock! If they don't have the part(s) in stock, they can usually order it in faster than any of the online stores.

The lady behind the counter turned my 1 hr repair into a 3 day ordeal. If she had listened to what I needed instead of trying to push her repairman on me (she must had told me 20+ times what a great repairman they had and he could fix it for me), they'd have a sale and I would had been done. Sold me a different part which I returned. I called twice about the replacement parts arrival time was told they call me back. They never did. Ultimately, I went to Hoppy's at I-44 at Southwest, who immediately took care of me at HALF the price. My repair took 30 minutes after Hoppy's help. Also, I called the lady to get the part number I provided her which was written on the receipt. She refused to give it to me. I'll never go back to this...
