I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Workout Anytime, a gym that claims to offer a "no obligation" membership but sadly fails to live up to its promises. The misleading membership terms and unauthorized charges have left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of.
When I initially signed up for a membership through their website and app, I specifically set my payment method as a one-time payment. However, despite this clear instruction, I have been consistently charged monthly fees. This blatant discrepancy between Workout Anytime's advertised policies and their actual billing practices is highly concerning and misleading to customers.
Adding insult to injury, when I decided to cancel my membership due to these deceptive practices, I was hit with an extra month's fee. This additional charge not only contradicts the so-called "no obligation" membership promised by Workout Anytime, but it also demonstrates a lack of integrity and a blatant disregard for their customers' rights and financial well-being.

I strongly advise potential gym-goers to exercise caution before considering a membership at Workout Anytime. The misleading terms, unauthorized charges, and lack of accountability have left me with a bitter taste. It is disheartening to believe in the values of a company only to be let down by deceptive practices and a disregard for their customers' financial well-being.
In light of my experience, I will actively discourage friends, family, and anyone else seeking a reliable and trustworthy gym facility from choosing Workout Anytime. I believe in holding companies accountable, and in this case, Workout Anytime has failed to earn my trust or recommendation.

Update: Upon originally adding this review I received a phone call within about 10 minutes informing me that the extra 30 day fee could be waived but they were unable to refund me for the 5 months of charges as long as I remove the review. When you cancel an account it says that it will also cancel any other account that is attached to it. So of course, you would think a family account attached to that account, opened at the same time would be cancelled too. Nope, they still charged me and fought me saying that I had a "family add-on" account instead of a family account. Like anyone other than an employee would you the difference. I'd steer clear of this place and go to 360 fitness across the way, it's a little bit more and way cleaner. Adding onto this, after the bad time I had with the manager and leaving my review, I received a voicemail from someone working for the owner of the gym. They were asking me to delete my comment and change my 1 star review to a 5 star review. Then they would refund my $30. In May, I asked to cancel my membership and was told I could not until June 10th due to my account being frozen. I was charged on June 10th and could not cancel.
