The staff was extremely obtuse and rude from the moment I called them to make sure that I was able to walk-in. They scoffed at my questions about whether or not they excepted my insurance and how billing would work and answered quite rudely. Once I got there, they had lost my paperwork and were unable to track it down. I asked if they would reach out to my doctor and get them to fax it over again. They responded that they needed me to Google and give them all of my doctors information despite it being a clinic they work with regularly. They supposedly called the doctor three times with no answer. However, I was able to call get an answer immediately and ended up tracking down the paperwork myself. Beyond all of the abysmal social interactions with the staff, (which is clearly not just a staff issue but also a management issue due to the lack of cleaning crews and the apparent stress that each individual member of the staff was under due to their workload and lack of support) when I use the restroom in the lobby, which is also the restroom used to collect samples there were pools of urine on the floor. Used urine receptacles on the floor and no soap in the soap dispenser to wash your hands nor hand sanitizer. The facility was absolutely filthy and the chair they had me sit in to draw my blood had rips in the vinyl cover that were patched with gauze that had been there so long it was black instead of brown. Absolutely disgusting and definitely did not feel safe having my blood work done in...
Read moreCame in for a blood test drawing, left with a Swiss cheese arm.
The girl up front was on the phone when we signed in, and she was extremely rude to the person on the phone: rolling her eyes, sighing heavily, refusing to transfer to billing and saying to google the number. After she slammed the phone down she yelled obscenities in frustration. She then told someone behind the partition wall to stop having conversations with clients because she hates hearing them.
The girl who started my blood drawing was obviously nervous, and eventually I saw "student" on the badge. Oh great. As she tried to find my vain, I could hear the girl up front moaning about her miserable life.
After 2 misses, she went and got the girl up front, I'm sure my blood pressure went up just then thinking this angry girl was going to take her frustrations out on me. Luckily she got it the first time and left immediately as if I was a burden on her life. The student then fumbled with the stickers and dropped my vials of blood.
On my way out, I heard the grumpy chick talking about how she wanted to be transferred to another location so she could get the $2 raise, and was talking about her current income and bills extremely loud. Very tacky, very unprofessional, and not sure how she has a job. Well never return here, and hoping she's not transferred anywhere I'll be or I'll...
Read moreWhen I first arrived this morning, I listened to the employee at the counter (short brown hair) refuse to tell a customer whether her lab order had been called in. She told the customer she would have to sign in, wait in line, and THEN when she was finally called, they could tell her whether or not they would actually be able to do the labwork. Fortunately for her, the orders evidently had been called in; otherwise, she would have had to sit there needlessly. After I had sat there for more than 30 minutes waiting to be called, I inquired where I was on the list. The same employee claimed to have called my name, which was not true because I had never left my seat RIGHT NEXT TO THE COUNTER. I heard her call other people who were not there, but those names were not remotely close to the pronunciation of my name, so unless she can't read, she did not call my name. She did not apologize. The other person at the counter, who was my phlebotomist, was very nice, very apologetic, and did a great job. I felt for her because she obviously stuck working with a very...
