First game focus this season and noticed some improvements to Q2 Stadium like self checkout. The atmosphere is still exciting in cheering on Austin FC. This time sat in the Austin Telco Premium Terrace section 316. You walk up stairs (elevator available) to this section but is restricted so the lines for food and restrooms are very short versus the lower section. The vantage point is not bad but the seats do still feel a little tight. but overall not too bad. If like me and looking for the souvenir popcorn bucket then need to get it downstairs.

Technically this was my first futbol (soccer) stadium MLS or other leagues I have even been to so cannot compare to others. But this stadium was very nice with a ton of food and drink choices. The prices are similar to other pro sport events so not shocked too much. Entering the stadium was quick where can arrive by entering from any corner. Canāt bring you standard 12x12 clear bag but can bring in a small clutch one clear or not (I think). But make sure to bring your phone to scan your tickets and credit card to purchase drink, food and merchandise.
Getting here for the first time may be confusing to many where I have just stayed nearby and walked, took Metro Rail from downtown, and parked. There are a few secret locations to park on the street for free or pay to park at various places in the area. Some take a chance to park at the Domain in their garages. The most important part is to arrive early.
As for the game experience I have already sat in various spots and all have great views (so far). There are premium seating options with access to clubs and usually those are very packed. The Verde Store (team shop) is also must to browse Austin FC merchandise and itās also open during the week. The staff is super friendly and helpful where the only negative experience you may occur is sitting near a unsportsmanlike rowdy, possibly drunk, fan. Curse words seem to fill the air from every game I have been to so be warned.
Overall it a fun party place to come and watch the Austin FC play, and drink lots of beer and eat good food from local eateries. After the game you can still hangout at one of the bars and let the crowd disperse for a while before going home. More improvements are coming to enhance Q2 Stadium and excited about...

My family and I are Austin FC fans for life! Our first in person game was the Timbers game and what a game to be at! The stadium is amazing and we got to be part of history. Not only did Austin score their first goal at home, they scored 4 in total and got their first win at home! The place was electric. My 13 year old told me later that some day he'll tell his grandchildren that he was there. I know a lot of folks want to nitpick all kinds of stuff but the experience far out weights all those things. You just have to expect some of the things people complain about. Sure the parking ain't great but there are any number of reasonably priced lots with in walking distance. Plan ahead and you'll be fine. The first time around we actually parked at a "Park n Ride" and rode the train in. The prices of food and consessions are kind of high, but again to be expected at a professional sporting event. In the end the whole evening was something my family and I will always remember. The atmosphere is unmatched in all of MLS. The Los Verdes ATX supporter group goes non stop and the whole stadium can be heard. Do yourself a favor, put all the nitpicking aside, buy some tickets for you and your family and just go have a great time. I know my family will bleed green...
