Bar none the best falafel truck on the planet Earth. Tried the hummus, falafel, chicken & lamb wraps and a side if fries. Everything was perfect. I could eat a serving of the pickles alone - and this is the only place I've ever visited where crinkle cut fries were delicious. Everything was excellent and they're open later than any of the other food trucks. The gentlemen running it got the food to ys fresh out of the friar and were friendly and efficient workers Very glad to have stopped by and will visit here every time I'm in town. We ate everything so quickly I only was able to snap a pic of half the fries.

The food here is so delicious and the proportions are huge! The owner is genuinely nice and really looks like he cares about the food he makes. We got the combo over rice, chicken and falafel wrap, lamb and falafel wrap, baklava, and hummus. Every item was amazing. The falafels were so soft! The spicy sauce given on the side is also delicious. We went at night so our photos aren't the best, but seriously this is one of my top places to get Mediterranean food. There's plenty of nice covered picnic bench seating available as well.

It is a food truck at a Gas station at the intersection of Burnet Rd and Braker Ln. I had food at Halal Taza cart 3 times in a month. Even though this place is far from my work and home, I visited this place just because I loved their food so much. I loved their Lamb over rice, Chicken over Rice , Falalfel with Hummus (I believe they make it in-house) and Pita. A must try place if you like Mediterranean food and like trying out food trucks. I like their service. It was a nice experience.

I can't believe I haven't made this review yet!

I absolutely adore EVERYTHING about Halal Taza! The entire family, the ambiance, the food, the service, the hospitality, the vibes, oh, everything! Amazing team, amazing food! And let me stress, that never changes!

"I ain't kiddin'", this is truly Austin's treasure! Great representation and experience of the Mediterranean cuisine and culture!

These are the greatest owners/team I've ever encountered in the food service industry! They're in their own league! I'm hooked on them! They're so unforgettable! I can't wait to eat here again when I'm back in Austin!

I think I pretty much tried most things on the menu, but my favorite thing, or go-to, was definitely the Beef/Chicken Shawarma over fries! It's dressed exactly the same as the rice plate, but they happily substituted fries per my request! It's sooooooooooooo good! It's impeccable! The best I've had! Oh! The Baklava was a first for me, and it's heavenly! Haha! I was nervous about trying Falafel, but since everything I had already been ordering was flavorful, I thought, why not! It did not disappoint! It was delicious! The food is plentiful and wholesome and the prices are great too! Check them...

Incredible! I went yesterday & ordered the Lamb Wrap + French fries. Portions are MASSIVE- I can easily get two meals out of both the fries + wrap, which I really appreciate. The lamb immediately stood out to me & I honestly can’t stop thinking about it today- it was so flavorful & tender, probably the best lamb I’ve ever had. The vegetables were fresh, & the fries were really well seasoned. I probably won’t get the fries again just for myself (only because I won’t eat them all by myself- they’re DELICIOUS, would definitely get if I go back with a friend!), but I can’t wait to go back to try the pita bread & hummus, especially since the pita was so delicious in my wrap. The woman who assisted me at the counter was super sweet & just had a very calm, easy way about her. Happy to support this sweet family, & thrilled to have such a delicious truck right across...

After my third experience, I continue to give them five stars. The people I ate with told me that I was wrong about the falafel, which I didn’t think was fantastic before. I don’t think I even mentioned it in my first review because I’m no falafel expert.

At first I thought it was just ok. Good quality food and nothing wrong with the flavor, but not spectacular. Others could easily disagree. Then I put their hotsauce on my lamb. Awww, man. It makes it great. High vinegar content like a Cholula or Louisiana, but red pepper flakes that kick up the heat to about a commercial salsa level hot and something else is added to thicken it. I don't know why this combination of thickened vinegar and heat and isn't more common. I almost made myself sick trying to shovel the deliciousness...
