Southwood Center — Attraction in Austin

Went here for my nephews birthday party, this place as a real old school vibe they still have coin tokens and actual tickets. My brother spent like $400 for a party package -15 people for laser tag, 3 pizzas (WAY better than anticipated) a cup cake tower, sodas tokems for those who participated in laser tag and a cup of candy -ONLY the birthday kid gets a unique cup as well as a tshirt- They apparently have deals depending on the day of the week. I was finishing up an important telephone call with my Mother and on my way to the hospital on Ben White so I pulled into the parking lot at 7pm in the evening sitting inside my vehicle outside Golds Gym and out of nowhere a black Ford Escape pulled into the space next to me and started honking. Southwood is an old style "strip mall," with a wide variety of retail establishments. As a matter of fact, it was the first such mall built in South Austin. You can have copies or business cards made, get an MRI, CT scan or X-ray, receive dialysis treatment, purchase furniture or clothing, play laser tag, and even visit a food pantry.
