When I was younger, I struggled with trichotillomania, which left my eyebrows very sparse. They have always been a huge insecurity of mine, and I filled them in religiously every day and often was unhappy with the results. When I saw one of Liv's previous clients post their results on Instagram, I decided to take a chance and try out Potion, and I am so so glad I did. Liv is so kind and compassionate, and I immediately felt comfortable and validated in their presence. They really took the time to talk through what I wanted my brows to look like and my past pain points, and then painstakingly curated a brow shape that was absolutely perfect for my face and eye shape.

Having someone apply tattoos to your face is definitely a trust exercise, but between Liv's incredible communication and immaculate skills and Potion's relaxing atmosphere, this experience was such a positive one. Having my new permanent brows has been such a confidence gamechanger for me, and waking up and not having to deal with bald spots or patchy brows has made me unbelievably happy. I never thought that I could have brows this good and this EASY.

I came to Potion Tx on a recommendation from a friend who received a facial from Val. I went at the end of January and let me tell you: my. life. changed. forever. I had never received a facial before (I know), and wow was I lucky to have Val and this place as my first experience. I scheduled a standard facial called "the hour" (as you might guess it was a 60 minute facial) and Val ended up treating me for well over an hour and a half. I came out glowy, ultra relaxed, and couldn't wait to schedule my next facial. In February I planned to go back, but a friend invited me to try out a different place where she had a gift card, and that place did not even compare. I couldn't wait to go back to Val @ Potion, but then with businesses shutting down in March as a result of COVID-19, my visions to return were postponed until further notice. I cannot wait for this place to open back up again, and I guarantee it will be the first place I schedule an appointment for once it's back up and running. I spent months researching places in Austin to get quality but affordable ombre powder brows, and I am so glad I came across Liv at Potion! Liv came highly recommended for lip blushing, so I decided to give that a try too. I booked appointments for both (two separate sessions), and the studio was so peaceful when I walked in.
