Zen Well — Local services in Austin

One of my favorite places in Austin. Everyone here is so nice and has magic running through their veins and hands. I always leave feeling like I am floating. I will never get a regular table massage again after having discovered Thai massage.

As far as Zen Well's 1-star reviews on here, please note that almost all of them revolve around the client being late. That is nobody's fault but the clients', and Zen Well has a very fair policy. 2-hour cancellation notice, otherwise 50% of the listed price will be charged. How does this not make sense? Whether you show up or not, the therapist has to be there in case you do show up, so taking 50% due to a late cancellation or no-show is more than generous of them.

If you're late, yes, that's going to bleed into your time, because you're not more important than the next scheduled client, and your tardiness should have no influence on the next client's appointment.

So - if you're looking to get your money's worth, it's actually pretty simple. Don't be late (this is why they nicely suggest arriving ten minutes early), and if you need to reschedule, give them at least a 2-hour notice (very fair), and if you have to cancel with less notice, understand your situation has affected the work day of someone else, and they are more than entitled to 50% of what they should've received had you been able to hold up your end of the scheduled appointment, and be happy to offer that to them.

Zen Well is amazing. I spent around $700 on gift cards there for family members for Christmas. Nobody has had issues other than not being able to live there and never leave.

Thank you everyone at ZW for combatting the daily stressors of life for us all, and I'm sorry for the silly, unfounded 1-star reviews y'all have. It bugs me to see those knowing what type of establishment y'all are. The few 1-star reviews clearly lack perspective; the fact y'all have an overwhelming amount of 5-stars and literally no 2-4 stars goes to show y'all are a 5-star establishment according to the masses, minus a few angry people that most likely take joy in leaving 1-star reviews for establishments they only dream of running as well as yours - perpetual victims to life.

If you are looking for serenity, look no further! As my 7 year old daughter exclaimed after her very first experience with hand and foot reflexology from the comfort of the amazing reclining rockers, "I WANT MY ZEN WELL - AND I WANT IT NOW!" I have been going to Zen Well for about 2 years now. I have always had an excellent massage from several different wonderful massage therapists there. I am writing my review today to commend them on the steps they have taken since Covid19 arrived. They, of course, had to shut down for a month or more. Since reopening they have set up protocols & procedures which adhere to the guidelines to keep everyone safe. Yet, even with the changes, they do everything possible to keep it easy for the client. Since Covid, I was worried that I would not feel comfortable getting a massage. Zen Well completely put me at ease. And, as usual, the massage was amazing. Yesterday was the 2nd time I have returned since they reopened. They were diligent about safety and the massage was wonderful. Movement is life!
