The way that this store handles their customer service is unprofessional and the customer satisfaction does NOT seem to be their first priority.
I signed up for an online account specific to this local store, so that I could submit about 65 documents to be printed. Upon signing up for my account, I received a 15% off 'welcome' coupon to be used for my first order. A couple days later I received a 30% off coupon as enticement to place an order I had left unfinished in my account 'cart'. I also noticed on this individual store's printing services website, there is a 25% off discount on copies advertised as a 'grand opening' sale.
After uploading and formatting my first order online, I tried entering the discount codes I had received. Neither worked. There was not a 25% 'grand opening' discount applied to my order either. I called the store to find out what was going on. They said they do not honor ANY of the promos I had received. They told me those are from 'UPS corporate' with whom they apparently are not affiliated. They also told me that their website doesn't currently even allow orders to be processed, due to website problems, so I wouldn't have been able to submit it online had I gotten through to the checkout process. They said I would have to come in to make my copies, and they would not be honoring any discounts.
I went into the store to make my copies. I was told I would need to use one of their computers to upload my files for printing. After making all my copies, I saw on my receipt that I was charged a 'Computer Rental' fee. Not only was I unable to take advantage of ANY of the promos advertised by UPS while actually at a UPS Store, but I was also not able to use their online services and was CHARGED EXTRA to come in and do all of my uploading in person.
Based on my interaction with the staff at this store, I am almost certain that if someone actually reads this they will still have an excuse why this is not their fault, and will not offer to make this right. I wish this store...
Read moreLike many others in these reviews, don't expect your packages to arrive on time or even within days of the stated date. Expect bad customer service. I read the reviews and decided against my better judgement out of convenience. All the negative reviews on this specific store are unfortunately true. The young dude with the small fro that helped me initially is the only Rep working there that is friendly. We all hate our jobs, but it's a choice to be miserable on the clock. 90% of the observed staff there look and act miserable.
The tracker is pretty much useless. Not necessarily a store issue, but that comes in later. Throughout the shipping process I couldn't get any information on where the package was until the day it was supposed to arrive. "Supposed to" being the key phrase. Took multiple days, and numerous phone calls just to see where the hell it was or what was happening after the initial delivery date. Something I spent almost $300 shipping. Calling this store was the real mistake though. Horrible service throughout the whole experience. Attitude the minute they answer the phone as if they're the ones experiencing an issue. Don't ask them to repeat anything, you'll get an exaggerated sigh or they'll talk over you. Nothing more frustrating than having someone interrupt you before you can even finish sentences. Completely unprofessional. One person telling me I'm eligible for a refund, and the next rep telling me I'm not and hanging up. Out of the multiple calls made to UPS over the past week, an outsourced community rep was honestly the only professional rep I got that helped me with my issue.
If you have important items that need to be shipped for work or other deadlines, please fly with them if you can or choose a different UPS store. Avoid this store. If you have an issue with your shipment, this store is the last one you want to be...
Read moreWent in this afternoon and was helped by the manager on duty i believe here name was Jahleine. Tried to be friendly to her saying hi, how is your Wednesday? She had no interest in the pleasantries, no problem just need to get a box shipped. Told her I had an account with ups, tried to give me her my phone number to pull up the account and she lectured me on how that wouldn't work. Minor misunderstanding I clarified that a different ups store was able to pull up my account by phone number. She then did so which worked. Told her the name and address where the package needed to be sent, which I've sent the same package to at least half a dozen times to. After finding out it was an international shipment she called what sounded like a corporate support person to ask if I needed some kind of documentation? It sounded like the person said she just needs to list what was there, which I had already told her. Then she told me that I needed to open my package and list the ingredients for each item. They were a gift so I told her no and at this point I had no confidence that she was capable of handling the transaction so I told her just to cancel it. I've shipped the same package to the same person a number of times and never had an issue or that request. Frankly maybe she was told that she needed the information and I wouldn't be writing the review if she just said 'hey I'm not familiar with how to do this'. But she was so rude during the entire process and was lecturing me so often with things she was wrong with anyway that I felt inclined to write this. I then went down the street to the ups store in Barton Creek who pulled up my account by phone number and shipped my package without jumping...
