Halal Naan — Restaurant in Austin

I wanted to give this place another shot after it had given me food poising due to the rice that I had. I liked their one gyro over fries plate and nothing was open in the area. I ordered gyro over fries but got it over rice to which I asked the worker if they could fix(it was unopened) and she said I had ordered something else. I’m not upset about the miscommunication but more so that most restaurants will usually do what they can to fix the order. The whole customer is always right thing Ive been taught even when I did food service.

Even worse is a few bites in I could taste the same mushy rice that tasted as if it had been sitting out for hours. Gooey and mushy rice is a telling indicator it has gone bad and is contaminated. This place is clearly not clean as indicated by many other one star reviews(Roaches,...

I had to listen to a lecture on how Uber Eats is ripping them off. I ordered a salad and it was an option to add beef for a dollar. Instead of honoring the deal and putting a tiny sliver of beef, they lectured me on how they have no control over what Uber Eats puts there (sure, yeah) and told me to deal with Uber to get the partial refund. What kind of review do you expect after that? Or repeat business?

I recently visited this halal naan and had a deeply disappointing experience. The food quality was subpar, but what was even more concerning was the lack of cleanliness and safety procedures at the truck.

I observed cockroaches all around, which is completely unacceptable for any food establishment. Unfortunately, after consuming food from this truck, I fell ill, which I strongly believe is linked to the unsanitary conditions.

I urge the owners to prioritize cleanliness and hygiene to ensure the well-being of their customers. I will not be returning to this food truck and cannot recommend it to others until these issues...
