Zalat Pizza — Restaurant in Austin

I would say all and all this place is prob a much better value if you live close to the area without much options available. I happened to be in the area, so I decided to give it a try after a show

There is no AC inside, and I happened to go on the hottest day of year which was miserable inside. I was told it would be 20 min, but it ended up being 45+ min… he did give me a free cookie and ranch which was nice. I was stuck in one of those it’s going to be “5 more minutes” loops and it just kept happening over and over. With how hot it was, it was just bad timing. If I was told 45 min from start I would have gone somewhere else…

Now the most important part = the pizza. Great variety of fun non-traditional options. I got the Pineapple one and it was unique, way hotter than I anticipated, but it was easy to take some peppers off

I personally am not a fan of that tasteless cracker style pizza crust, but if you are, you may like it. I thought it was Okay, but would not go out of my way for it again. I've always loved Zalat Pizza because every time I walk by them to go to Pluckers, the smell is just wonderful. I tried Zalat Pizza for the first time a few months ago and it was delicious—so good that it might be my favorite pizza place (blows Domino's out of the water). As a leader for my student organization, I catered Zalat Pizza for our general meeting, and I initially thought we ordered too much (you get a lot for your money if you cater). By the end of the meeting, there were no leftovers. It was also way cheaper than other catering options. We will be ordering 17 pizzas and some wings again in the near future.

Also, the Zealot (supreme) is my favorite!

UPDATE: I tried the Reaper Roulette. I can confidently say the one hot slice will cause some problems for normal people. I'm not normal though, so I thought it was weaker than expected (I've eaten a fresh Carolina Reaper before). I would recommend everyone give the Reaper...

They couldn't care less. Placed an order of 20 pizzas for delivery and called that morning to have everything put together. 30min past the time it was supposed to be delivered, I called and they said they're not delivering it.

I called to set everything up and they told me I was good , then decided to not make sure it was delivered , after I paid the delivery fee? Now im late for the event im throwing to go get the pizza I paid to be delivered

Of course they were cold, they've been sitting there for 30min. He gave me a wad of napkins and said there you go.

This job is mad easy and they managed to give me a poor experience. Of course when I walked it it was mad slow and no ones doing anything. Thanks guys I appreciate that.
