Bobs Place — Restaurant in Avon

First time here. Went to simply pick up food based on reviews and whew…never going back. There is absolutely no service here. I couldn’t find a single person to help me when I got there, wandered around like a lost puppy, finally found a table way in the back by the kitchen with food! I go, standing there, no one is there. I begin looking for my order, see it, give it a second look b/c they spelled my husbands name wrong. There I was, intensely reading, when out of the kitchen comes this guy. Literally rips the food bag out of my hands, rudely says “can I help you mam”, and I say yes! I have a pick up order! To which he says, ruder than before, “you still have to PAY for it mam”. I could not believe it. I politely responded yes, of course I know, there was just no one to help me! And his last dig of this was “we’re right here, mam”. Left upset, offended, would never and have never stolen a thing, and can’t believe I was judged as such. My handbag alone costs more than he makes in a month, so I was upset as we are NOT those people. Anyways..got home, ate. FOOD: gross bar food. Everything is deep fried. Protein portions sucked. Pretty good. It is kind of tucked away in what looks more like a medical building so I wasn't sure we were in the right place. It is a bar atmosphere, at least the section we were seated in (that might be due to the virus) but it was fine. There were lots of TV's on, but not loud. I had the buffalo chicken wrap (pic below) and fries and it was a large quantity and pretty good. My daughter had the vegetarian enchiladas (pic) below and the others at the table had burgers and wings. They all raved about their food, and the burgers looked really good and they were large. I can't complain about the amount of food they give you, especially for the reasonable prices. I took 5 of us out for lunch today with one drink ordered and it was only $98.00 without tip--not too bad for this resort town. And the food was good quality. It isn't anything fancy, so if you are expecting some beautiful restaurant with exquisite dishes this isn't your place, this is just a basic restaurant/bar with good food and decent portions. As soon as we walked in, it was a little confusing as where to sit. You could either take a left to the bar or walk straight to the Resturant area - where there was no host. The “seat yourself” sign was sitting behind what would have been a hostess station (I think), so it was hard to really know if we were actually supposed to seat ourselves. We eventually caught an employee’s attention and she seated us. Immediately after sitting down, 3 servers were arguing with each other about something. That sort of set the tone for us for the environment and experience for us. The food was mediocre. We expected the wings to be better considering they seemed to specialize in them. We also ordered a variation of buffalo wings they carry, and they clearly were teriyaki. When telling the server (first off, she said she doesn’t eat wings, so she couldn’t make us a recommendation) about the mixup, she insisted we were wrong and walked away.
