I came here for incense…3 hours later 🤦🏾♀️ i headed out with 2 bags full of fresh, locally grown fruits and veggies. I think I’m home free, I made it out… then I pass what I thought was a lamb gyro stand. I’ve been in the sun, walking around…it’s almost noon, sure, I could use a bite. I stop and ask the lovely vendor, is that chicken or lamb? Because it smells delicious! She smiles and replies….oh it’s mushrooms and it’s soooooo good?! Gurol what!! IKYFL! But I’m alright stuck because they smell sooo good. Baybeeeeeee when I tell you, that wrap didn’t make it out of my parking space. There are a few stands that change every week - sometimes there are artists selling their work, or free blood pressure measurements, or vegan food like kimchi or cupcakes, or Girl Scouts selling cookies! Oftentimes there are lovely street musicians. I highly recommend the empanadas & salteñas from DMV Empanadas - they’re even better warmed up at home, and don’t forget some little sauce cups! I also love the ice cream pints from Broom’s Bloom Dairy. Rain or shine, limited parking, no dogs allowed, credit cards accepted at many stands (but cash is always...
