🚫🚫🛑 The people in charge of cookies company, not specifically from This franchise, should have their titles stripped from them and be sent back to basic business classes. The entire cookies system is completely trash and I'm not sure if they are just high or go on year-long vacations but it's as unprofessional as it gets.
Where should I even start? When I ordered cookies clothing from the company it took over 45 days for me to receive it. And of course there's only a 30-day refund policy and the clothes run big. I ordered cookies caps when they were first released and was very excited about this kind of product being on the market but received nearly expired products. The cannabis is not what it is advertised as and is greenhouse grown and of moderate quality to be generous. I am yet to be impressed by any of the companies releases. Oh, and the release of an entire glass collection that was not released for nearly a year except to the wholesalers who attended Cannacon in Las Vegas . 🤦 They set their websites up in a way that does not allow users to give them reviews and I think we all know why.
Regarding the cookies caps, when I received my wholesale order all of the products were 7 to 14 days away from reaching their expiration date. I reached out to cookies and they said they would replace them if I returned them. (not sure if they were just going to put them in different packaging for the next person or why they would want products back that were so close to expiration and still needed time to make it back across the country) well this was in May of 2023 and once I printed out my return label and shipped the product back, I was not able to get in contact with cookies until early January of 2024! ( Maybe they were dealing with financial lawsuits from their stockholders who are enraged by the company stealing money from them, who knows ) I had reached out via chat on the website, I had reviewed their return policies and clicked every link and emailed their return department with no luck.
Sad thing is that's not even where the nightmare ends. Once I was finally in contact with someone, in January 2024, it took several days to be connected directly with their billing department which I quickly discovered only responds via email every 2 to 3 days, not including weekends. They were very quick to offer a refund rather than the products that I had already ordered for my shop. As a wholesaler who supports the company in more than ways than one, I found this extremely disrespectful and was also very turned off by their terrible communication at this point . So I told them to process it .
Of course they could not locate my order. After about a week, I was told that my refund would be processed in a couple of days. Then I heard that again a few days later. Then I was told their merchant processor was down and it would take a few days to issue the refund. After being told this twice, I was informed that they were closing all of the CBD accounts 😳 and that they would issue my refund by ACH directly requesting all of my information through a non-secure email. 🤒 Finally, February 15th 2024, nearly 10 months later I received my refund.
Being the leading company in the cannabis industry and branching out to other markets such as CBD, mushrooms, clothing, glass and even an ENTIRE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM, you would think the customer service would be held to a higher standard. I truly don't believe I would have ever gotten my money back if I did not pester them weekly turning into daily. I placed the order around 3pm for pickup at 9pm coming from pg county Md. I left out headed to bmore around 8pm. Takes me roughly an hour. So as I’m in route CARLOS calls me and say they ran out of my “ONLINE” order And apologized saying they weren’t gonna be able to fulfill my order because all of the cookies product was sold out. I was a disappointed bc I literally was driving 30 mins into the drive. So I say how do you run out of an order that was placed for pick up over 6 hours ago. But I digress. Things happen. So I ask well for the inconvenience can you credit me a few reward points. He tells me NO. I said I am customer who has spent money with you in the past. There’s nothing you can do for me since you have inconvenienced me. I’m not asking for anything free. Just a few reward points. He said let me ask my manager. He comes back and again says No we can’t do anything Here I am spending my hard earned money with you. And you care nothing about me driving an hour to only be called saying your sold Out of what I ordered earlier that i got confirmation on to come pick up. Not to mention they are selling cookies products online for a deal of 160 For an OZ. But when you get there it’s a silver bag with a cookies sticker slapped on it sold by another grower called sunmed. But I let that one slide months ago. ffwd to today 9/17/24 miraculously everything is back in stock My entire order from yesterday is online ready to be ordered as soon as the place opened this morning back at its original price. Read moreThere's a good selection of flower, pre rolls, edibles and a bit of vapes. I haven't tried most of the brands here like rhythm or verano. I ended up getting some dogwalkers mini pre rolls and dark chocolate edibles. The dogwalkers (Bubba Fett) have a slight smooth lemon taste. You can't really taste grass or combustion, that's how smooth it is. I almost felt like I bought some nice tasting hemp until I got back home. 3 edibles, a mini pre roll and a half mile walk later, I was feeling calm, happy and tired. I need sleep so that's exactly what I wanted. I think the edibles are what made me tired. I love dark chocolate, and they tasted like only dark chocolate with a hidden aroma of THC if you try to notice. I haven't found an edible that does anything to me yet other than homemade brownies, so at least these might serve a good purpose such as sleep medicine or night time movies at home.
I bought some other things but haven't tried them yet, so not worth mentioning yet. I might edit this if they're worth it in my opinion, like everything else is in this post.
I forgot my tender's name, but he was a cool shorter dude with braids/dreads that gave me what I wanted. His customer service was refreshing. I always feel like people are trying to sell me bud like they're best buy salesmen, trying to sell me a printer, $200 stylus, 1 back rear left car speaker (because it's on sale bro), a login to his ex's only fans.... And all I asked for was to get a car cigarette lighter USB socket.
My dude should get a raise and hopefully he'll be there next time. The cashier was a nice young lady with cool nails and she was very kind and welcoming.
