Attending various festivals is one of my favorite pastimes, so I decided to visit the Gullah Festival this year on May 24th. The Gullah Festival was very cultural, rich in African American heritage, artistic, entertaining and unequivocally educational. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, drumming & dancing performances, the tasty, diversed foods, along with the arts & crafts vendors. The festival was held at the Beaufort Waterfront park.
