Don’t shop here! We ordered a table and we were expecting it to arrive around the end of February. No one ever called or emailed with the status of our order. No problem stores get busy. We call and are told it will be here around the middle of March. Okay that’s fine a couple more weeks. We stop in to look at other furniture around this time and ask about about the table. We’re told it will be the end of March. Okay but why have we not been notified? So we wait, finally get our table, and it’s damaged. Not a scratch, not a small ding, no a whole chunk of wood is missing out of it. We contact customer service for them to say they have to send someone out to look at it and see if they can repair it even though we sent pictures. We wait another 2 weeks, the repair person shows up, looks at it and says he can’t do anything about it they have to order a replacement. He said they will be in touch and he leaves. He was in our home for no more than 2 minutes and I had to take off work to be here. It’s been a month and no communication whatsoever. My husband calls again today and they say it will be August. I get shipping can be pushed back and delayed but the lack of communication is awful and for the $2,000 we spent something should’ve been done about it. There’s a chunk of wood missing so we have to keep that part of the table open, we can’t even sit there. Will not be spending another dime here and will not be recommending it...
Read moreTLDR: Just save yourself time and frustration, and start at Furniture Fair. Caroline is amazing and they have a great selection in stock! ... I've been looking for living room furniture on and off for a year and never saw anything that really fit my vibe. I've been in and out of a few other places in the Centerville/Beavercreek area, and just kept ending up at Furniture Fair. A few days ago, I went to the Miamisburg location and was pleasantly greeted by Caroline. From the start, Caroline was fantastic. She listened to exactly what I was looking for -and I was being specific - and she showed me everything that fit the needs and wants. She knew the layout of her store and there was minimal guess work. She was patient while I sat and got comfy on several sets, and redirected me when I started veering off my style. 2 days later (today) I went to the Beavercreek store and asked for her again, and she walked that floor with me, just as patient and kind as the previous visit in Miamisburg.
We looked at a few more additional pieces that I thought could work, but ultimately I ended up with the original set I loved a few days ago. Today is Sunday, and I could have had my new furniture as early as Tuesday! I feel like I spent the right amount on what I was looking for, and I can't say anything negative about this purchase or my past experiences, visits...
Read moreThe first time we went was great but we wanted to go back without the kids so we could concentrate on actually shopping. We got there right when they opened and we found a sectional we liked but it wouldn’t recline. So we said something to the lady that was helping us and she was thinking that it was still locked into place from shipping. Which makes since. So we said we would just come back because we had to get our daughter from school. Later that day (before going to the gym next door so I was in old gym clothes) I went up to see if it was fixed and it was. So I was looking at tables that would go well with the sectional and also match somethings we have since I was ready to buy right then and there and not one person came up to me. I was like they all might be helping others so I looked around more. I was there for about an hour and saw all the sales reps were just sitting in a circle looking at the iPads. So I just left. Yeah I know I could of hunt someone down but if your wanting to sell and I’m sure its commission then ask if I’m liking a certain item or something. What it felt like to me was I was in some old gym clothes so it didn’t look like I was gonna get anything and that I was younger than the people that...
