Salon EXP — Attraction in Beavercreek

I never leave reviews. I have terrible luck finding a great stylist, so I get my hair done maybe once a year. I have now been here twice (with two different stylists) and I have been impressed both times! Last year I had Tommy-awesome! Today I had Katie and she was THEE BOMB! I came in thinking I knew exactly what I wanted, and with her expertise and incredible patience left with something outside my norm/comfort zone! AND I HAVE NEVER LOVED A HAIRCUT MORE! Booking appts is fast! They always get me in within a day or two (sometimes same day), I don’t have to wait for one specific stylist bc they are all exceptional, they listen, they consult, fun but professional! Exactly what this busy mama needs!

I tried to give another “highly rated” local salon a chance bc I’m new to the area, but was left with severe disappointment and lack of professionalism (waited for over an hour and left without a cut-which was going to be almost double the price). Don’t book anywhere but here! These guys...

Went in with a picture of an idea of how I would like my hair to look or close to it. The stylist said " we can do something like that". And that was the END of our conversation, and immediately started putting foils in my hair. Long story short I walked out with half highlighted roots, and over toned hair, with no correction to the section of hair that needed correction and a cut that wasn't even done where I usuallypart my hair. And I was charged 159.59 for a cut and half a head of highlights! Thankfully I called the next day and spoke to the owner, she and another stylist fixed the mess up. If you go in, just make sure you have a good conversation with your stylist before they do anything to your hair, because what I walked out with the first time was NOT worth 159.59 of effort...

I recently decided that I wanted to get my hair cut to a healthy length again, and didn’t know where to go. I stumbled upon SalonEXP with a normal “near me” google search and decided to give it a shot. I messaged them Friday evening on their Facebook page asking if they accepted walk ins, and was immediately booked an appointment with someone for the next day. I arrived a tad bit early because I’d never been there before, and didn’t know what to expect, and was able to meet with my stylist early. My overall experience was perfect, and everything I wanted, and I can’t wait to return! Katee did an amazing job with my hair, and I’ll be seeing her...
