Produce Junction — Attraction in Bensalem Township

I usually go to the produce Junction up on Easton road but I came to this one in Knights because it was a little closer to where I was but it will definitely be my last time coming here . Customer service was horrible here . No one there looked happy to be there . No one greets the customers . My main issue was when I asked the young lady at the register about a case of their fruit she shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know” and turned around instead of saying let me see if I can find someone that knows . So I asked her again can she find someone who knows and as she seemed bothered she got another employee from the back and tells him this lady needs someone can you get a case of fruit from the back ? He came back with the wrong box telling me they don’t have what I want . Then another worker over heard and stepped in and said “yes we do . there are plenty of cases. The guy stormed off angry because he had to go look for the correct case of fruit. All though I was very livid about the service not one time did I show them the same attitude . I continued to treat them all with respect . If my husband didn’t really need what I was in there to get at the time I would have not given them my money . It's ok but no where near as good as it use to be! I no prices are going up on everything but the prices are the same as ShopRite on sale and S.R. fruit and veggies are in much nicer condition! So I was disappointed with that because P.J. always was as cheap as supermarket sales, majority of the time they were even cheaper but sadly not no more!! And they didn't have as much fruit as they usually had I don't no if it was just a bad day but they didnt have as much as they use to have for flowers or decorations eithe so idk?! Outside there was only a few mums and inside only a few choices of small flower bouquets I was very disappointed to see that because they always had tons of beautiful flowers inside and out! And there were only a few scarecrows on a stick for decorations, again usually they had tons of cute decorations and grave pieces but sadly not when...

UPDATE: in the last three weeks I’ve had to throw away a watermelon, two papayas, and two dragon fruit because they had absolutely no taste whatsoever. Where are they getting this fruit? Tasteless fruit is some thing I have never heard of!!!!

I've been going here for years and was usually pleased, but lately the produce and fresh flowers have really been low quality. It really seems like they are "seconds" or leftover fruit and vegetables that are just ready to turn. Lately most of what I've purchased went bad, just a day or 2 in the refrigerator. The plants are decent most of the time, but the flowers too, start to die in just 1 or 2 days. I get its a bit cheaper, but I am constantly throwing food away. So what am I really saving? I think I need to try...
