Not sure how there could be any better experience while buying online than buying with Blauer Board Shop. I had a question regarding binding size so I sent an email through their support email. Minutes later I got a response that addressed my question at the deepest level, meaning, they took the time to understand my setup/gear, down to the brand, and confirmed proper fitment to the gear I was interested in. Not only did they answer my question, they offered to setup my bindings to match my exact boot prior to being sent. I didn't ask for this service, they understood my needs just offered based off my question. These guys/gals know their stuff, and they want to ensure complete satisfaction (not forced, but genuinely want to make their customers happy). I just get the feeling these people love what they do, and just get excited to connect with customers who are also excited about new gear. Read moreI have rented from here before and everything went well besides one of the rude workers but today I rented a snowboard and on my first run the clip on the bindings broke. I called right away to notify them about the situation and I was told to take it to the repair shop on the resort and I would be reimbursed and they wouldn't charge me for the rental. Well when I brought the board back I wasn't reimbursed, I was told I needed a receipt for the repair which I didn't know, even though I had the broken clip and the board was returned with a new one. So I basically repaired their faulty gear for free, it didn't cost much so Its not big a loss. It's more of a disappointment that they didn't keep their word especially because I had to risk getting injured riding down the hill with a broken binding strap because of their faulty equipment. Read moreI bought a pair of snowboard boots here on a Friday, and after using them for a couple of runs, I realized they were too soft and lacked the response I needed. I cleaned them up to look almost new and went back the next day, only to be told they wouldn't take them back, despite an associate assuring me the size was right when I purchased them.
I understand return policies can have limitations, but I expected more flexibility considering the boots didn’t meet my performance needs and were used once for an hour or so. Now I’m out over $240, and the so-called "good return policy" feels misleading. While the staff was friendly during the sale, their unwillingness to help afterward was disappointing.
Overall, a frustrating experience. I'd recommend being absolutely sure of your gear before buying here, as returns may not be as straightforward...
