Big Bear Spa Suites — Hotel in Big Bear Lake

This owner has renamed his property in an attempt to hide from MULTIPLE HORRIBLE REVIEWS. In addition, my own review has somehow seemingly vanished from Google as well! How convenient.

This place is a sham pure and simple. It claims to be a hotel, but it's actually an AirBNB in a clever disguise. There is NO STAFF at this place to help you when anything goes wrong. The only person that is available will ONLY TEXT you to tell you that nothing is wrong when there are clearly many obvious issues that affect the health and safety of anyone who chooses to stay here, such as: *Bugs in the jetted tub and bathroom *Exposed wiring *Jetted tub jets coming apart when tub is turned on Broken light fixtures *Gaps in windows and doors allowing bugs in *Internet speed too slow to stream anything on the TV, making it useless *Security cameras pointing inside the rooms through doors and windows *Broken AC *Inaccurate listing description (no hot tub, no "view", no hair dryer, no "soundproof rooms").

Nothing worked. No on site staff. The “owner” messaged me saying he told me I needed to send a text message of my ID to him when he clearly did not. His text message said to present an ID upon arrival. Then a power outtage. When i contacted him as i arrived around 6:30pm about the power outtage, he mentions to me that the power just went out 25 minutes ago. The next day i go to a nearby cafe and make small talk about the power outtage. It was out since 3pm the day before which gave plenty of time for the “staff to update us so we could prepare for the visit. We slept it the cold 28*F weather with no heater, no power.
