Yellowstone Casino — Attraction in Billings

I hesitate to write a good review on Rendezvous because I want to keep this secret gem to myself...lol! Seriously, it's really good. The interior is funky to say the least but it's that ambiance that lends to the place for my family, friends and I. The more important thing though is the food. I need to be clear in that they have more on the menu but the only thing I've ever had at the Rendezvous are the burgers and they are excellent! They have a number of options with set toppings or you can customize your own, something I typically do. You start by choosing from 1/4 pound of beef and up, followed by either one of the pre-set dressings, or doing like I do and customizing it. I like a 1/2 pounder when I'm really hungry but the 1/4 pounder is no small burger for sure. Especially if you pile a bunch of toppings on it. Speaking of toppings, I usually go with grilled onions and shrooms with cheddar and a bit of mayo with a fried egg, but I also sometimes change it up and go with a chili burger. It can be tough deciding what all you want on your flame broiled (not flat top cooked) beauty but less is more so that you can taste that great grill flavor in my opinion. Another tough decision is what to have with your burger. They do an outstanding hand-cut fry there that I usually go with and one or the other of my kids will usually go with the tater tots (Yes! They have tots...lol) and we share. Not sure who their purveyor is but they have really good Ranch dressing to dip fries and tots in so don't forget to order some if you are down with that. Overall Rendezvous is a little retro-funky but totally on point with killer burgers and fries and as I understand it from others, a really good breakfast menu as well. Since they are also a casino, they are open until 02:00 as well, so you can get some really good food to help in case of overindulgence in the bar or if your just looking for some late night good grub. Food here was great. i got mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and they came out quickly, and what surprised me is that before i was done with the appetizer, the waitress was bringing out my main course. I did not have to wait long. food was hot and fresh. The burger could have used a little more seasoning, but was juicy and overall very good. to my delight the service was also excellent. Before coming in i was a little skeptical of the service after reading some of the other google reviews. im thinking they may have hired some new staff or made some changes due to negative feedback, because i was very happy with the service. rendezvous was found first with ease via their promotions on FB! Yay for my match play, cos I drew a large amount! I sat there cooled of thanks to the great Lord A.C, resting only a second after arriving while getting my directions from Google Maps™ ! It was a breeze since I used the hands free version. The attendants on shift at the rendezvous surely know how to treat a customer ( as we all know some quirky keno playing family member) sometimes privacy with our mojo is exactly what the keno gods have commanded.
