My friends and I stopped in after doing a little shopping for my friend Tami's birthday week to meet up with our friend Randy who is from the area to have a drink after he patiently waited on us girls to get done doing our thang 😂 we were greeted before we even got to the door and was told by a gentleman to get our butts in there and ignore the Husband Day Care sign we were outside laughing about🤣🤣 it was a customer appreciation day and we were welcomed in like they've known us forever❤️ we very much enjoyed our small talk with the owner and her beautiful daughter Casey and several of the regulars❤️❤️ being a very loved Bartender from Palatka FL who myself strive to make sure any new faces that walk into my bar feels like they are welcome with open arms and right at home I can 100% say that they are on the same exact page as I am❤️ we most definitely will be returning when we come to visit again in the fall and if was possible I would have given them wayyyyyy more then 5 ⭐s❤️ Thank you all again y'all are frickin...

Came in expecting a bier garden experience, but not so much. Whole dining room was dirty and unswept like a large party had just left but it never really got cleaned. The beer selection was so-so, giant pretzel with beer cheese was the star of the meal. My fiancee enjoyed his chili but when my 10$ grilled cheese came out there was no bacon. When I asked the server about it she said sorry and walked away. When she returned a few min later she said the kitchen was out of bacon but never told her. She gave me a 15% discount on the sandwich but I would have ordered something else had I known. The waitress was really nice and friendly but you could tell she was inexperienced. I later heard her say that she was new and had only been there a week. Also, The iPad with square on it to pay puts you a little bit on the spot as far as tipping goes since the server stands right there. Definitely made us feel uncomfortable. Saw they claimed to have 5 German beers on tap. We go to Bavaria every other year for Strong Beer Festival (Starkbierfest), so we were really looking forward to it. We ordered two Erdinger Dunkels and one Erdinger Hefewizen. The two Dunkels were almost undrinkable; either extremely dirty bear lines, extremely old beer, or something. But both were definitely off.

What they claim to be a hefeweizen (beer brewed with wheat) simply was not. We're not sure what it was they served us out of that tap, but it was definitely made with barley not wheat.

If you're craving good German beer and in this part of Georgia simply take the half hour drive to Helen. Whatever you do do not come here you'll be extremely disappointed. (We weren't even bothered by the fact that Billy have a full menu, and handed us a menu, they said they could not serve us food Google apply the party they were having)
